Grays Salon offers a range of hair colouring services, from bright and vivid multicoloured looks to natural highlights, balayage and colour corrections. We work with you and your personal style, so if you want a sleek one length cut or a mullet, we use varying techniques including razor cutting to achieve your hair dreams.

There’s a homely and friendly atmosphere at this cool airy shop. Innovative stylists here provide an excellent service that’s complemented by expert advice and a cup of tea. Open Tuesday to Saturday each week, a customer car park can be accessed from Stanningley Road.

Our stylists will use hand painting techniques to lift your hair as sun kissed or bright as you wish, so each balayage is tailored specifically for you. Results are dependant on your base colour and type and will be discussed with your stylist during your consultation. 

Full Head Balayage with Toner, Cut & Style

Select this package if you have short - mid length hair and are getting an all over tint! If you have long/thick hair or are booking in for multiple shades/anything more creative, please see our Creative Colour option under 'Full Head Colour' and then add a cut or a style to ensure your full appointment is booked!

Consultation

Consulation & Patch Test

Select this option if you don't want your hair styling, and your cut is straightforward and won't require any additional shaping or chopping after it has been dried. A lot of the time, we need to dry your hair to ensure your cut is snipped to perfection - so only choose this option if you have had a wet cut with us previously. 

If you book this option but end up requiring a blow-dry and style, we will require the difference to be covered at the time of your appointment.

Wet Haircut

This is the option to choose if you're wanting a total overhaul! 

This allows for your stylist to have an extra 30 mins with you, so they can spend that dedicated time perfecting your new look.

Is your fringe getting a little unruly? Not ready to part with any length from the rest of your hair? Book in to tide you over until your next Cut and Style.

This option is for existing clients only. If we haven’t seen you for over 3 months for a colour appointment, you’re required to book a fresh patch test. If you’re an existing client but would like a big change, please select the ‘consultation’ option to allow more time for us to discuss your ideas and what is achievable for your hair 🥰🌈

Existing clients patch test

All new colour clients are required to book a consultation, which will include your patch test. We will discuss your hair history, your ideal hair goals and importantly, what can be achieved. Bring a few inspo pics with you so that I can visualise the vibe you’re going for 🫶🏻✨
If necessary, I may take a small cutting of your hair to check how it will respond to bleach/colour. It is recommended that you book your consultation around 1-2 weeks before your desired hair appointment date, to ensure that a slot will be available for you and to avoid any disappointment. Colour appointments will be booked manually by myself once the consultation has been completed-please be aware that you may be asked to pay a deposit to secure your booking

Full Head Colour

The perfect service if you want to cover greys, or for in-between full head colours until you need the whole colour rejuvenating. We recommend getting your roots or full head refreshed every 6-8 weeks, depending on your hair and your personal preferences! You can discuss a POA with your stylist. 



Root Touch Up

We recommend booking your toner every 4-6 weeks to keep your colour fresh. 

Toners neutralise and correct the undertones of colour treated hair, like brassiness or warmth, to give you a more natural, bright or even look, depending on your desires! You could even get a pearly, pink, or lavender tone... have a chat with your stylist during your consultation, they will be happy to discuss what is achievable!  

Price listed is from, and may change if more product and time is needed for your desired look. 

Toner

NEW CLIENTS - must book in for a consultation & patch test at least 48 hours prior to their appointment. If you haven't had your colour or patch test done within 3 months, you'll need to as well!

NEW CLIENTS - a patch test is required at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. If you have not been patch tested or had your colour done for 3 months too. 

Bleach root touch-ups are recommended every 4-6 weeks to ensure you don't get banding. Aside from restoring the complete look, this technique helps you avoid excess damage. 

If you leave it for longer than this, your stylist will have to apply your bleach in stages to ensure an even lift, so you must select the 'Double Bleach' option when booking your touch up. Your stylist will help you come up with a POA for your appointment schedule- taking into account your hair type, base colour, etc. 

You must follow up this booking with a toner (for blondes or pastel tones) or a full head colour if your colour is bright/vivid/multi tonal or a big change from your natural colour.

This highlighting technique transforms your colour to a natural, soft all over blonde. Your stylist will highlight all of your hair and discuss in your consultation your desired tone and look!
