Microblading is a tattooing technique and form of permanent makeup in which a small handheld tool made of several tiny needles is used to add semi-permanent pigment to the skin. 

Microblading differs from standard eyebrow tattooing, as each hairstroke is created by hand using a blade which creates fine slices in the skin, whereas eyebrow tattoos are done with a machine and single needle bundle.

Microblading is typically used on eyebrows to create, enhance, or reshape their appearance in terms of both shape and color. It deposits pigment into the upper region of the dermis, so it fades more rapidly than traditional tattooing techniques, which deposit pigment deeper into the skin.

What Is The Difference Between Semi Permanent Eyebrows And Microblading?

The main difference between “semi permanent eyebrows” and “microblading” is the method of application. Semi permanent makeup uses the machine method and microblading uses a handheld device.

Both methods give semi permanent makeup results and both methods can produce a variety of looks like the ombre brow as well as more natural hair stroke brows.

Eyebrows (hairstroke SPMU)

Ombre brows, also known as Powdered Brows, are a semi-permanent eyebrow styling technique that creates a soft shaded brow pencil look. 

On average, microblading lasts up to one year and ombre brows can last for up to three years, although this can vary based skin type, skincare routine, etc. Those with oily skin may find that microblading fades much quicker on them, so may want to consider the ombre powder brow route.

A lip procedure is ideal for those that regularly wear lip liner or lipstick or someone that wishes to enhance fullness or colour. Choose from lip liner, a subtle lip blush or a full lip colour.
