Sports massage was originally developed to help athletes prepare their bodies for physical performance, to perform well during training and to recover after a sporting event. However, it is beneficial for anyone with injuries, chronic pain or a restricted range of movement. 
Whilst sports massages aren't supposed to hurt, don't be surprised if you experience some tenderness and discomfort, especially if your massage therapist is working on an area that's already injured, sore, or tight.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage helps to drain and detoxify the body reducing the risk of infection, supports nutrient, hormone and immune cell transfer throughout the body all of which are necessary for functioning tissue and organs.

A congested lymphatic system can lead to a range of health issues, congestion of the lymphatic system, lymphedema, where fluid retention and swelling occur may be as a result of a sub-optimal or sluggish lymphatic system.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is extremely gentle and is commonly used to stimulate the flow of lymph and reduce swelling, supporting overall health.
