My name is Julie and I am an experienced Holistic Therapist, Reiki Master and a member of the Guild of Holistic Therapists. I work with clients to create a treatment plan that works to calm the sympathetic nervous system, break the stress cycle, ease pain and boost the immune system. I specialise in aiding recovery from burnout, chronic fatigue syndrome, insomnia, anxiety and stress from my treatment centre on Verne Road in North Shields. Holistic massage 

With a combination treatment you get to choose which treatments you receive. A combination of 2 mini treatments (1 hour) or 2 full treatments (1 hour 30 mins). Choose from: Swedish massage, back neck and shoulder massage, Indian head massage, Reflexology, Reiki or Crystal healing. A wonderful option is to combine body work (such as massage) with an energy healing (such as Reiki).

Combination Treatment

This treatment focuses on loosening tight muscles, releasing knots and reducing pain in this problem area and is helpful for people who hold a lot of tension in their back, shoulders and neck. Using locally handmade all natural Diya Wellness oils which leave your skin feeling and smelling amazing. 

Back, Neck and Shoulder Massage

Try this bespoke massage incorporating elements of Swedish massage, Indian head massage, Reflexology and Hot Stones*. A gentle massage of the abdominal area using hot stones and womens aromatherapy blend to help relieve pain and tension, followed by a grounding reflexology treatment focusing on the reproductive area. At the end of the treatment you will have the chance to pull your own oracle cards and discuss the meaning behind them over a cup of herbal tea.

A 45 minute Indian head massage to start with relaxing Diya wellness oils focussing on helping to release physical tension in the shoulders, neck, head and face. 

Followed by 40 minutes of Crystal Healing combined with Reiki to help balance the chakras and make you feel brand new. 

We will end the session with an opportunity for you the pick your own oracle cards and discuss the meaning behind them. A truly invigorating treatment. 

Sacral Chakra 

This treatment is designed to help bring you into your parasympathetic nervous system so that you can gain a restful nights sleep. 

Choose from: 
60 minutes option: lie back on the therapy bed with an eye mask for an Indian head massage which focusses on your neck, shoulders, face, arms and head, followed by a Reiki treatment which aims to relax and bring balance to the body and mind. 

2 hours option: includes Indian head massage and Reiki and also includes Reflexology which is an acupressure treatment that works to help calm the nervous system.

Hot stones massage 

Indian head massage focuses on your head, neck and shoulders. Wonderful at reducing tension, headaches and helping to relieve insomnia. This massage works on a chakra balancing level and as such helps to release emotional, as well as physical blockages in the body. Using locally handmade traditional Indian head massage oils from Diya Wellness which leave your skin and hair feeling and smelling amazing. This massage can be done without oil if preferred. 

Indian Head Massage

Traditional Japanese style Usui Reiki performed by a Reiki Master. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It involves placing hands on or above the body to help clear emotional and physical blockages, balance the chakras and activate the patient’s natural healing processes. Crystal therapy can be combined with Reiki and involves holding crystals or placing them on your body to promote physical, emotional and spiritual healing and release blockages. This really is a treatment that has to be experienced to feel the benefits.

Crystal therapy is an energy healing treatment which involves the practitioner feeling for chakra blockages and placing corresponding crystals on your body to promote physical, emotional and spiritual healing. Crystal therapy can be combined with Reiki, which is a hands on healing technique for aiding stress reduction and relaxation. Reflexology is a relaxing treatment that involves massaging and manipulating pressure points which correspond to different areas of the body to help relieve pain and promote healing.
