It is important to recover well from pregnancy and childbirth, otherwise their effects can lead to long-term dysfunction & pain. A full body postnatal assessment will check how your body has adapted after pregnancy and childbirth and discuss how to address the physical challenges that may arise during the postpartum period. 

Our thorough screening evaluates posture, pelvic alignment and joint function to identify any areas of strain or imbalance.

Anyone post pregnancy can have a postnatal check, & at any time, whether its 6 weeks or 6 years after childbirth! However, if you are struggling to reach that 6 week milestone then you can be seen sooner, sometimes we need support to get through the first 6 weeks.

It can just be for a one off check to see how you body is adjusting postpartum or we can book you in for a full consultation and start chiropractic care and management.

Our free spine check is a quick, 10 minute assessment with our chiropractor Rosie. During the appointment, she’ll ask a few simple questions about your health and any discomfort you’re experiencing. She’ll also perform some basic tests to evaluate your posture and spinal alignment. This short check-up helps determine if chiropractic care could be beneficial for you.

Who is it For?

The free spine check is available for everyone 18 years and older 
(under 18s must be accompanied by an adult).

It’s ideal for anyone dealing with back pain, neck pain, headaches caused by poor posture, injury or other musculoskeletal issues. It’s also perfect if you’re looking to prevent future spinal problems.

Spine Check - Free

Your first consultation will involve taking a detailed case history of any current symptoms and a previous medical history. This enables us to find out about your lifestyle and any previous injuries that could be contributing to the current issue.  This will be followed by a physical examination, including relevant neurological and orthopedic testing to determine the cause of your symptoms.  

From that we will diagnose and devise a comprehensive treatment plan, talking through any findings with you, answering any questions and explaining which techniques will be used and the likely length of your treatment plan. If your chiropractor suspects that you  may have a more serious health problem, they will refer you back to your GP for further medical investigation.
