Joanne is kind, accommodating, & makes one feel comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend a 1.5hr massage (over 1hr), UNLESS you have a specific problem area you need work on. I found that the last half hour of my massage dragged on, w/the same repetitive motion done down my back, & little to no variation in the pressure or location of massage. I didn’t feel like knots were paid any special attention, & at no time was I asked about how the pressure level felt, or if there were any special areas I’d like to focus on. The first hour, was lovely, warm, & allowed for a once over of the entire body.

Hello Alexandra, on our initial consult, i did ask you if you had any areas of concern? You had mentioned shoulders, back, I did spend more time on your areas of concern. Apologies if you felt the massage repetitive. Hot Stone Massage does not focus on deep pressure or specific points, but rather a light to medium consistent pressure, really suited for general relaxation. If I may make a recommendation moving forward, please verbally communicate any concerns that you may have, especially if you are unsatisfied, which would be corrected immediately, Thanks for review.
