About

Our piercing studio can give you excellent information and advice on the pros and cons of different piercings, jewellery and aftercare. Everyone—and every piercing—is different While everyone experiences different levels of pain, you should expect to always feel some discomfort. The actual piercing is very fast then it's just a case of popping in the jewellery. We will then run you through your aftercare and it's yours to look after. We have the right to ask for your ID. Should you be under the age of 18, you will need a guardian to accompany you to sign a minor consent to piercing form. Please make sure you have eaten something before coming for your piercing. Make sure to inform your piercer of any blood pressure problems or allergies that you may have. It’s actually illegal to pierce anyone that appears to be under the influence. Even if your piercer just ends up smelling a beer on you! Alcohol thins out the blood and may make you bleed more when being pierced. This actually works for caffeine and energy drinks as well. Lots of drinks will thin your blood! We will allow you to take one person to sit with you during the piercing, however we kindly ask that no videos or photos be taken while we are doing the piercing, unfortunately the photographers tend to get in our way, and this also tends to stress the person out that is sitting for their piercing. Once you are in the room the piercer will clean your skin and make a mark of where we think is the best placement for your piercing. We will not pierce until both piercer and client are happy. You may not be able to speed up the healing process, but there are ways to ensure you don't slow it down. Be sure to keep your piercings clean and use jewellery made from safe metals while they're healing. The rate at which a piercing heals varies from person to person and can also depend on what type of piercing you get, in general most piercings can take up to 6 (six) months to heal.
