When you say “it’s just allergies” we end up sick, every single time. 
This fee allows you to get your service, but reimburses us for the doctor’s visit copay, the medications, and the loss of income from the days we are out because we don’t work sick. It’s a win/win! 
Or, you can let us know you’re sniffling, sneezing, coughing, have a fever, scratchy throat, chest congestion and we will reschedule you without any penalty! 


It’s “Just Allergies” 

I forgot to turn my phone off and/or I took a call on speaker phone, disturbing other guests who were paying for quiet services. This is a charge to reimburse the guest for my thoughtlessness. 
*Signs are posted everywhere. This is a quiet place. Turn off your phone and finish your phone calls BEFORE you get on the porch. Seriously. Before the porch. Preferably in your car.

This is why the software asks for a credit card to book. If you make an appointment and you don't show up for it, we will charge your card for the *full amount* of the booked service(s). 
We have a waitlist and don't intend for a maybe to sit on and hold a spot that someone else is waiting for.

STOP. 🛑. This is for hair and nail services only. 
We will ask you a few questions about your service, and keep the small talk to a minimum. You can relax without having to carry a conversation. Facials and massages by nature are already quiet services. You control the environment in a facial or massage. It isn’t our social hour.

If you are a new guest booking a first-time facial, you *must schedule this first, before adding your service. It takes approximately 15 minutes to complete the paperwork. Do not book this service by itself. This service is only for paperwork.

Beginning April 1, 2024, there will be a charge incurred for any questions related to non-emergent issues texted to me between the hours of Saturday 2:00 p.m. until Monday at 9:00 a.m.  
Example: “Hey, Kelly, I’m at Walmart and saw this new lye, charcoal and concrete dust scrub. That’s okay, right?”
No. Straight to jail *AND* a $25 fee for raising my blood pressure during off time. Maybe more. Might be $50.

To clear the skin, this facial is part of the Acne Boot Camp series, for 3 or 4 months, with visits to the MH skin care clinic spaced three (3) weeks apart, with the *mandatory use of home care products. Purchase a series (4 visits) for special pricing.

Acne Management  Facial

Esthetician’s choice! Bring me your lovely face and I will give your skin exactly what it needs. May include enzyme steps, Dermaplaning, multi-masking, and various modalities at no additional charge. It’s really magical. Ask my clients. 

Hocus Pocus! Facial with Kelly 

Gua sha is a 3000-year old method of using tools to “scrape” the body in order to increase micro circulation, gently release facial restrictions, move lymph, smooth, tone, and tighten. Every type of skin benefits from this modality.
This facial includes a lesson on performing this at home; the jadeite stone is yours to keep!

Microdermabrasion is a minimally invasive procedure used to renew overall skin tone and texture. It is known for improving the appearance of sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, acne scarring, melasma, and other concerns.This service may not be available for a first time appointment. Your skin must be evaluated first to determine the appropriate and correct method  of exfoliation for you. Rosacea or telangiectasia diagnosis is an automatic exclusion. 

Microdermabrasion  Facial

Enzymes are the new chemical peels. All the benefits, none of the downtime. Everything is 100% personalized, every time. This facial is suitable for acne, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, loss of firmness and fine lines. Established clients, please- corrective work, the enzymes may be slightly “spicy”.

Spend an hour with me learning how to give your clients the absolute best intake session to meet their goals, concerns, and needs. 

The Perfect Client Consultation 

This class focuses on physical dermabrasion, specifically hydrodermabrasion and microdermabrasion. Esthetician students or licensed estheticians are welcome to book this class, which covers best practices, scope, protocols, contraindications, prep, aftercare, and Kentucky rules/regulations. 
Kelly, your instructor, has a graduate degree in a teaching field, and is a licensed esthetics instructor. 

Physical exfoliation class

This brief class for esthetician students or licensed professionals provides insight into chemical exfoliation best practices, skin type matching, client goals, prep and aftercare, contraindications, scope, and laws/regulations. 
Kelly, your instructor has a graduate degree in a teaching field and is a licensed esthetics instructor. 

Chemical Peel Class

This is a hands-class for an esthetician who wants in-person training. There is a theory section, and a practical session. There is one exam, and one summary report due before a certificate is issued. A non-refundable deposit is due when the class is booked. The remainder is to be paid before the student receives the certificate. The price also includes a kit. 
Kelly, the instructor, has a graduate degree in a teaching field from Murray State University and is also a licensed esthetics instructor.
