Thank you for your feedback, and we’re happy to hear that you found the treatment relaxing for your first experience with Abhyanga.

Abhyanga is more of a nourishing and grounding treatment that helps with circulation, coldness and dryness in the body, while also calming the nervous system. It can definitely help with tension and pain as well, though usually with more regular treatments over time, as it’s difficult for any one treatment to completely relieve deeper back and neck tension in a single session.

We also didn’t realize during the treatment that your neck and back were areas needing more focus, otherwise we would have gladly spent extra time working on them. Please don’t hesitate to mention this during your next visit so we can better tailor the treatment to your needs.

Interesting for a first experience. I had the abhyanga massage, it was relaxing but not very effective at relieving back and neck tension.

My consultation went wonderfully. I left informed and with a lot of tips. My practitioner was working hard at translating everything for me to understand properly. I loved that they sold almost all of the products I needed as well.  The place is clean and calming. I will most likely come back for some treatments.

A follow-up consultation will be scheduled for a reassessment between 4 and 12 weeks, depending on the extent of the client’s health concerns. This consultation is available only to clients who have completed the initial consultation. This service is also popular seasonally, as our needs can change with the seasons.

Shirodhara is an Ayurvedic therapy where warm, medicated oil is poured continuously over the forehead, specifically targeting the third eye chakra. Shirodhara is often used to treat anxiety, insomnia, and emotional imbalances, providing deep relaxation and rejuvenation.

Shiroabhyanga (Massage Ayurvédique à la Tête | Ayurvedic Head Massage)

Le Kati Basti est une thérapie ayurvédique ciblant les douleurs lombaires. De l’huile médicinale chaude est retenue sur le bas du dos par un anneau en pâte, permettant une absorption en profondeur. Ce soin détend les muscles, nourrit les tissus, réduit l’inflammation et améliore la mobilité. Il est efficace contre les douleurs chroniques, la sciatique et les spasmes, et équilibre le dosha Vata, souvent lié à la douleur et à la raideur.

Targets lower back pain and stiffness. A ring of dough is placed on the lower back and filled with warm, medicated herbal oil, which is retained for a set time to allow deep absorption. This treatment relaxes muscles, nourishes tissues, reduces inflammation, and improves mobility. It is especially effective for conditions like chronic back pain, sciatica, and muscle spasms, and works by balancing the Vata dosha, which governs movement and is often linked to pain and stiffness.
