Alchemy Lab was born out of pure serendipity during a time when the world needed healing the most. After an incredible year of solo travelling, Maura returned to Dublin for what was supposed to be a brief stay. But in the midst of the pandemic, as everything paused, she saw the growing need for more than just beauty treatments—people were yearning for holistic care, connection, and a sense of calm. What started as an unplanned venture quickly grew into something far more meaningful. Alchemy Lab felt almost destined, as if it was meant to happen all along.

Alchemy Lab sets itself apart with brow work that starts with listening: the brow artist discusses the shape clients want, offers suggestions, and checks in during the treatment. Brow threading, brow lamination and lash lifts are among the services, with some appointments also including an unexpected head or scalp massage.

I’ve been going to Maura in Alchemy for my eyebrows for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. She’s incredible at what she does, but what makes it so lovely is how relaxing the whole experience is. Maura has such a calm, warm and positive energy, and you always leave feeling better than when you arrived.
