Professional Home Salon providing Manicure/Pedicure services. SLiK Nails is managed and owned by myself, Simon Longden-Kirk, based in Congleton, Cheshire. After successfully completing my initial training in October 2015, I became a fully qualified Nail Technician in January 2016. I bet you are wondering why and how a guy like myself, became interested in becoming a Nail Technician. Well the story is very simple. I take pride in how I look, whether I am dressing for work, strolling around town, attending special occasions, or just relaxing at home. In May 2013, I had my very own special occasion, when I married my husband. For this big day I wanted the both of us to look our best, including our nails. After looking at various Nail Technicians and Salons online, we found the ideal local place. After my visit, I decided that this was something I wanted to do; to add that finishing touch to someone else's special day. Just over 2 years later, after friends allowing me to practice on their hands and after many hours of deliberation, I took the plunge and my future as a Nail Technician started.
