Skin Fade (Bald Fade)
	•	Definition: Hair is faded down to bare skin at the lowest point, often using a razor or foil shaver.
	•	Look: Completely smooth and bald at the bottom—no stubble.
	•	Fade Types: Can be low, mid, or high, depending on where the fade begins.
	•	Tools Used: Clippers, foil shaver, and/or straight razor.
	•	Best For: Crisp, bold styles with high contrast.

 The most dramatic, freshest look
Requires regular upkeep to maintain the clean finish

Zero Fade
	•	Definition: Hair is faded down to clipper level zero, leaving slight stubble but not fully bald.
	•	Look: Very short at the bottom, but not as smooth as a skin fade.
	•	Tools Used: Clippers with no guard (0 guard), no razor or shaver involved.
	•	Best For: Those wanting a tight fade without going completely bald.

Subtle fade with less contrast
Not as smooth or sharp as a skin fade

What Is a Wet Shave?
A wet shave means the skin and hair are kept moist and lubricated throughout the shave to reduce irritation and get a super-close cut.

🪒 Wet Shave Process
	Prep the Skin
	•	Warm towel applied to soften the hair and open pores.
	•	Optional pre-shave oil for extra glide and skin protection.
		Lather
	•	A shaving brush is used to apply a rich, foamy shaving cream or soap.
	•	The brush helps lift the hairs and exfoliate the skin.
		Shave
	•	Razor used: Straight razor, safety razor, or multi-blade cartridge razor.
	•	Shaving with the grain (and sometimes across or against it for a closer shave).
	•	Skilled barbers may stretch the skin while shaving for better precision.
	Post-Shave
	•	Cold towel or cold water rinse to close the pores.
	•	Aftershave applied (balm or splash) to soothe and disinfect the skin.
	•	Moisturizer or toner might be added.
