Reiki is a  complementary treatment accessible to anyone. I am a Reiki Master, and Reiki Master Teacher, with a wealth of experience and hundreds of case studies demonstrating the success of this ancient form of energy healing for people who may be experiencing energy blocks or pain both physically or emotionally. 

During a session I will use gentle touch and energy balancing techniques to help realign and cleanse the body's biofield and energy centres, known as chakras. The process aims to remove blockages and promote a free flow of energy throughout the body, enhancing physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.  

Clients typically experience a deep sense of relaxation,  visual images/colours, several different physical sensations such as heat, tingling, floating, clarity, a sense of release of tension and peace after the session and often for several days following a treatment. I am a Midwife with over 18 years experience, certified in western acupuncture with additional pregnancy and childbirth acupuncture training through the British Medical Acupuncture Society.

This technique can restore hormone imbalances, reduce stress, increase uterine blood flow and improve overall well-being, which has been shown to improve the body’s ability to successfully conceive.

Women can hold onto energy, pain and grief following life events such as, miscarriage, traumatic birth experience, fertility challenges, PMS/PMDD, sexual violence, perimenopause and menopause. I use a variety of healing modalities including Reiki, which promotes healing by activating the parasympathetic response helping the body break the 'fight/flight/freeze' response; rebalance emotionally and heal at a very deep level. 

Divine energy healing, can incorporate Tibetan singing bowls, tuning forks and spiritual guidance to remove blockages and promote free flowing energy throughout the body. These may be deep rooted historical emotional trauma wounds; by healing the emotional memory stored throughout the body, clients typically experience a deep sense of release, clarity, and harmony after the session and typically for several days following the treatment.

The evidence based acupuncture protocol I use has been shown to restore hormone imbalances, reduce stress, increase uterine blood flow and improve overall well-being, which can support the body for sub fertility treatments such as IVF and ICSI. 

Acupuncture can provide significant improvement and relief for conditions such as musculoskeletal pain, muscle tension, help to induce labour using specific points after 37 weeks, turn breech baby's in utero, ease pelvic girdle discomfort (PGD), relieve hyperemesis (nausea and vomiting in pregnancy) and more.

Auricular acupuncture is a specific form of acupuncture focusing on the ear as a microsystem of the body and has shown great results particularly in anxiety, pain management and sleep issues.
