Kahuna Bodywork (Lomi Ka’aleleau) is a flowing and dynamic form of massage-like therapy. It is both therapeutic and deeply relaxing. Through sensitivity, depth of focus, perpetual motion in rhythm a space is created for clients to experience healing and wellbeing for themselves.

The rhythmical application of massage-like strokes are applied through the use of the practitioners own leverage, posture and motion encompassing the whole body.

Rotations of the joints are incorporated addressing areas where tension is commonly held i.e. neck, back, shoulders and hips. 

Deeper work may involve specific focus and deep point pressure however a relaxed and pain free state is maintained.

Kahuna Bodywork (Lomi Ka’aleleau) is a flowing and dynamic form of massage-like therapy. It is both therapeutic and deeply relaxing. Kahuna Bodywork uses sensitivity and long flowing strokes to provide a space for clients to experience healing and wellbeing for themselves.

These massage-like strokes are applied rhythmically. Through the use of the practitioners own leverage, posture and motion the bodywork is performed like a dance upon the whole body. 

The whole body is incorporated whilst addressing areas where tension is commonly held i.e. neck, back, shoulders and hips. 

Deeper work may involve specific focus and deep point pressure however a relaxed and pain free state is maintained.

* A 2 hour session allows time for deeper work to be performed

Kahuna Bodywork

A variety of modalities are blended together to facilitate release and restoration. These include massage, pulsing, rhythmical rocking and guided visualisation. The whole body is included with focused attention on the sacral region, abdomen and womb. To conclude the body is cocooned with ceremonial wrapping. Self care recommendations which may include information on castor oil packs, steaming, menstrual charting and self massage are provided.

This treatment is most appropriate when you are not bleeding and three days or more prior to bleeding so that massage is safe to perform over the womb.

It is not suitable for pregnant women (please see Pregnancy Massage)

During the 90 minute treatment I will check in with you regarding self care discussed during your previous appointment. I can address any questions or new concerns you may have. 

Follow up

Womb Massage & Fertility Massage

A thorough consultation precedes a 90 minute massage.
Ideal for women who have not received a massage in a long time, are close to their due date or require focused work but would also like a full body treatment. Appropriate self care recommendations are made that may include stretches to relieve discomfort and postures to balance and soften the muscles and ligaments of the pelvis.


 

90 minute- Initial Pregnancy Massage

75 minute full body massage. Appropriate self care recommendations are made that may include stretches to relieve discomfort and postures to balance and soften the muscles and ligaments of the pelvis.

 75 minute follow up

Full body relaxation massage to support your journey of surrender and trust. Particular focus is given to the sacrum, hips, legs and belly during the session. Also included is a Side Lying release to soften and lengthen the pelvic floor and myofascial release of the jaw (The jaw has a reflexive relationship with the pelvis and cervix).
