This is handy if you ever feel anxious about finding where my location is or if you or your child is nervous about getting pierced. You can pop in for a friendly chat, check the vibes and environment and have a quick look at how the piercing process will be done.

Meet Your Piercer!

This is an appointment for a single lower lobe piercing in for a minor who is 13 or under. 

I recommend a 'Meet the Piercer' appointment for younger or anxious children before their first piercings. 

I usually only pierce children aged 5 and above, on the condition that the child/minor is able to express their desire to be pierced and is therefore able to consent to the procedure. I will make every effort to make your child feel comfortable during the procedure, however I will not pierce a child who is visibly distressed or who states they do not want to be pierced.

Please take into consideration your child's lifestyle and any extra curricular activities before choosing to get their ears pierced.

Please read your pre-appointment information regarding ID needed as I cannot pierce your child without this.

Single Lobe Piercing - One Ear (Child Aged 5 - 13)

This is an appointment for a two lower lobe piercings for a minor who is 13 or under.

Plastic retainer jewellery is not recommended within the first few months. Healing time varies depending on the area of the ear.

Double Lobe Piercing - Both Ears (Child Aged 13 - 17)

The jewellery in a nostril piercing cannot be removed at all in the first several weeks and after this point, jewellery must be worn consistently for several months until it is FULLY healed. Nostril Piercing (Child Aged 14 - 17)

Under 18s Piercings

This appointment is for if you are having issues with a piercing. Examples of issues: trauma to the area e.g. you've snagged it, excess swelling, lumps/bumps, incorrect jewellery has been fitted, allergic reactions, potential infections. 

I am happy to assist with piercings done elsewhere, however in some situations, I may refer you back to your original piercer or to a medical professional. I can fully remove but cannot swap the jewellery in a piercing which is less than 30 days old if it was done elsewhere as I cannot accept liability for any potential harm that has been caused by another practitioner during this initial stage. 
Please message for advice if you're unsure if a consultation is necessary. 

IMPORTANT: If you suspect an infection (extreme swelling, spreading redness, heat, yellow/green discharge, feeling unwell etc) DO NOT DELAY in seeking medical attention if your piercer is not available to advise.

The appointment fee is £10. Any jewellery is an additional cost. 

Piercing Health Consultation (form to be completed before attending) 

During this appointment we will look at any existing piercings you have, plan additional piercings you may want and choose which jewellery you would like, to curate a cohesive aesthetic for your ears.

This is an appointment for a consultation only, no piercing will take place at this time but jewellery may be installed if there is enough time. 

Please note, during the consultation, I will advise on what would be an appropriate amount of FRESH piercings to get in one session. 

The consultation fee is £25. Any jewellery purchased is at an additional cost. 

Ear Design & Curation Consultation

Consultations

This appointment is for the removal of a piercing ie. retiring the piercing. If you have a piercing that you would like to troubleshoot and hopefully save, please book a 'Piercing Health Consultation' instead. 

There is a charge for removal for time and the tools and products that may be used to aid safe removal and aftercare. 

No refitting of jewellery is included in this appointment. 

Irritation is often confused for infection. However if I assess your piercing and discover it has an active infection, I may not be able to remove it and may have to refer you for medical assistance instead. 

Removal/retirement of a piercing

For assistance with removing and refitting jewellery if you have to go for an operation or a scan that requires you to remove your jewellery.



Jewellery help for MRI/Scan/Operation 

This is for putting jewellery back in after an operation or a scan.

The £10 fee covers time and set up costs for sterilising and refitting jewellery. 

Refitting of jewellery 

Removing jewellery for an operation or scan.

£5 is for time and any set up costs for removal. If you need retainers to wear in healing piercings, these are an additional cost. 

Removal of jewellery

To reopen a piercing using a taper/insertion pin, either in a healed piercing where jewellery has not been worn for a period of time or in a healing piercing where jewellery has been lost.

Service fee for tapering open an older, healed piercing is £10 and this does not include jewellery.

Reopening a HEALING (not healed) piercing (due to lost or removed jewellery) requires an almost identical set up to a fresh piercing. It is £15 for the service and this does not include jewellery.

Any piercing that is less than 6+ months old or is showing signs or irritation requires the HEALING option. 

I can only install jewellery which was purchased through my studio so I can verify the manufacturer and quality. 

Refitting jewellery/Reopening piercings by taper  (READ DESCRIPTION) 

This is for tapering open a piercing which is not fully healed but the jewellery has been lost or removed.

Fee: £15.  Jewellery is not included in this price. 

HEALING piercing

A piercing which is FULLY healed, but jewellery has not been worn for a period of time.

£10 covers the cost for the set up. Jewellery is not included in this price and is an additional cost.
