Milia (milk spots) are small, white cysts on your skin. Cysts are filled pockets under the surface of your skin. The most common place to find milia are on your face. Milia are harmless and only affect your appearance but can be easily removed with ACP

Skin tags are common growths that often appear in areas where skin rubs together, like the armpits, under the breasts, groin, or around the neck. They can be easily removed with advanced electrolysis, a safe and effective treatment.

Filiform warts look different than most warts. They have long, narrow projections that extend from the skin. They can be yellow, brown, pink, or skin-toned. They are caused by human papillomavirus (HPV).
 
Like other warts, the filiform variety is a benign growth that can appear as an individual wart or in a group or cluster.

Spider angioma, also known as spider naevus or spider telangiectasia, is a vascular lesion characterized by anomalous dilatation of end vasculature found just beneath the skin surface. The lesion contains a central, red spot and reddish extensions which radiate outward like a spider's web.

Wart  Removal

A seborrheic keratosis is a common noncancerous skin growth and you are more likely to develop them as you get older.

They can vary in colour and size but they are usually brown, black or light tan. The growths can look waxy, scaly and slightly raised. They usually appear on the head, neck, chest or back.

Seborrheic keratosis are harmless and not contagious. but you may decide to have them removed if they become irritated by clothing or you don’t like how they look.

You’re generally more likely to develop seborrheic keratosis if you’re over the age of 50. You’re also more likely to have them if you have a family history of the condition.

An advanced electrolysis method is used to remove the seborrheic keratosis . The skin then has to go through a healing process which can take anything from two weeks to 3 months and there may be a small amount of pigment left once the skin has completely healed.

Moles can be treated by reducing their size and appearance using diathermy (AC). The first treatment can shrink the mole by up to three-quarters, with a follow-up to smooth it flat. While the colour may not exactly match the surrounding skin, darker moles will likely become lighter after treatment.

 GP approval is required, so your mole must be assessed as benign, and a letter, email, or text from your GP must be sent to us before your appointment.
