Anxiety, irritability, low self-esteem, grief, depression, physical pain, sexual difficulties, loneliness, relationship difficulties, and difficulty adjusting to change may be symptoms of an internal conflict rather than poor circumstances or some other external factor.
Therefore, when making use of insight-based therapy, my role as a therapist is to assist clients in understanding how their current life problems may be linked to internal conflicts.
