Dermal Needling (also known as Microneedling) is a fantastic treatment that can be used to treat a number of skin concerns in many areas of the body. One of the main reasons for this procedure's effectiveness is its use of the body's healing response.
This treatment offers an array of results you'll love. Some of them, like skin tightening, will show up nearly immediately. Others will take between four and eight weeks to fully develop.  That's the time it takes your body to ramp up collagen production and cellular turnover so you can get the new, healthy skin you want.
It is recommended to have a minimum of 4 treatments approx 6-10 weeks apart (depending on your age & condition of your skin).

Do you have brows that are sparse in places or do you simply want brows that make a statement & frame your face? Henna Brows will tint the skin as well as your brow hairs so if you feel you have gaps in your brow hairs or they simply aren't as full as you'd like then maybe a Henna Tint is what you need. The Henna will dye you skin for 2-10 days approx & your brow hair for anywhere from 2-6 weeks.

What is Hydradermabrasion? It basically utilizes the healing powers of oxygen, water & skin care solutions  to leave the skin exfoliated. 
 It also leaves your skin  deeply hydrated & drains those nasty toxins that build up in your lymph vessels, along to your lymph nodes for disposal through lymphatic drainage. One more advantage of this facial is the blood circulation is improved & this leads to faster collage production. Beauty & Elegance use the latest Hydradermabrasion Machine which incorporates a 2 step treatment. The first pass uses a lactic acid based fluid to cleanse deep into the skin, the second pass incorporates VitA & VitE to help moisturize & calm sensitive skin or, if you have inflamed skin, the 2nd pass uses aloe-vera & soy extract, green tea extract, cypress leaf extract, etc., to penetrate deep into the skin, restore damaged skin cells, effectively help regeneration, improve skin's immunity, brighten skin tone & bring a luster to the skins surface. 

Hydradermabrasion

During this procedure, a state-of-the-art diamond tipped hand piece will be used to gently remove the dead cells. The Diamond Peel gently, safely removes the outer layers of the stratum corneum, and any debris on the skin such as surface blackheads, whiteheads, oil and dirt. Microdermabrasion is excellent for anyone whose skin is dull, flaky, dry, and anyone with clogged pores. Diamond Microdermabrasion

Carbon Laser  is a non-ablative laser skin treatment that uses the conductive qualities of carbon to quickly and painlessly exfoliate, cleanse, clear and tighten pores. Carbon is applied over the entire face then left to dry and attach to the sebum and debris in the pores. Removing facial hair by Dermaplaning/epidermal leveling DOES NOT encourage more hair growth, or effect how the hair grows back. The consistency of the vellus hair will remain he same soft, fine peach fuzz.

Dermaplaning is recommended every three to four weeks. 
Great for all clients but especially those who find waxing too harsh – a great exfoliation option for sensitive skin.

If you struggle with acne or enlarged pores, High-frequency might be just for you. High Frequency is a device that creates Ozone on the skins surface. The glass tubes that attach to the High Frequency handle contain either Argon or Neon gas that when activated creates ozone between the tubes and the surface of the skin. Ozone is known for it's anti-bacterial qualities. It has been proven to be one of the strongest antiseptics against the majority of microorganisms involved in skin infections.  After the High Frequency wand is past over your face several times I will then "Spark" the most problematic blemishes to dry them out and heal them faster. This is a great treatment if you have a special occasion coming up and get those unexpected blemishes. 
6 treatments are recommended with one a week for 6 weeks.

A consultation is needed before any IPL treatment as there are many different factors that need to be considered before going forward. A free test patch will be given at this consultation to ensure you're a suitable candidate. Safety is my main concern so this consultation is an important step in your treatment.  IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), is similar to a laser treatment. However, a laser focuses just one wavelength of light at your skin, while IPL releases light of many different wavelengths, like a photo flash. IPL penetrates down to the second layer of your skin (dermis) without harming the top layer (epidermis), so it causes less damage to your skin.

WHY DO I NEED SEVERAL TREATMENTS?
 Several treatments are needed. Hair removal only works when the hair is in Anagen stage (hair growing stage) & at any one time only approx 20-30% of the hair on your body is in this stage so several hair growth cycles are needed to treat the hair when it is in Anagen stage. 




IPL Consultation

If you arrive for your IPL appointment and you haven't shaved (except for mens back) then a service charge if $15 will be added to your final payment. This charge covers the price of the medical grade razor used along with the extra time needed to shave the area.
NB/ shaving will not be performed on pubic areas. If you arrived unshaven for your IPL treatment in this area your appointment will need to be rescheduled.

 A consultation is needed to ensure you're a candidate for Electrolysis. You can book you treatment straight after your consultation so no need to come back another day, although I recommend you take time to consider the pro's and con's of the treatment after your consultation before booking your first session. This procedure cannot be performed on people with any electrical  implants such as: Pacemakers etc...
Other contradictions for treatment include:
Blood Thinning Medication
Cochlear implants
Dermographia (Very raised red lines left after the slightest scratching) 
Haemophilia
Keloid Scarring (Raised, thick, knotted looking, purplish scarring after trauma to skin) 
Pacemaker
Pregnancy (1st Trimester) – Then not below neck
Recent Scar Tissue (in treatment area)
Rosacea [active] (in treatment area)
Skin Diseases/Disorders
Sunburn (in treatment area)
It is safe to treat  during pregnancy but it is advisable to wait until the first trimester has passed.


Consultation

Electrolysis can be performed almost anywhere you have hair that you want removing. The treatment is the same no matter where you're having it performed it's just the time that changes. You must have a consultation before your first treatment. This consultation is free and can be booked directly before your treatment. 

During the 15min session there is only enough time to remove a minimal amount of hairs becuase much of the 15 mins is spent getting into position, finding the correct glide settings, and prepping the skin. If you have an area to be cleared rather than just a few hairs then a 30min or more treatment will be a better option for you.

Small skin tags can be removed with or without numbing cream (Both prices are shown below).  Numbing cream takes approx 20-30mins to work it's magic. I strongly recommend the use of numbing cream as this treatment can be quite painful even if you feel you have a high pain tolerance. I will not remove any skin tags that have a large attachment area or are too "fleshy". These types of skin tags usually require a stitch or two after removal which I will not attempt to do nor am I qualified to perform. If upon arrival and examination, I find the skin tag  inappropriate to be removed due to either its size or its texture/ appearance I will not continue with the treatment. There will be no charge if the treatment is unable to continue.

Head Massage

This "Add on" can be booked only with any other facial. This will not be done without a the proper cleanse, exfoliation, steam etc beforehand as this Softens the area around the extraction site & opens the "head" of the extraction, making it easier to remove without creating too much damage to the skin.

Can be added to any facial booking.
If you have Millia (small white lumps that, when extracted, are like tiny grains of sand) & you'd like them extracted properly then book this "Add on" so I have time to remove them during your facial without cutting into the original treatment time.

 Several treatments are needed. Hair removal only works when the hair is in Anagen stage (hair growing stage) & at any one time only approx 20-30% of the hair on your body is in this stage so several hair growth cycles are needed to treat the hair when it is in Anagen stage. 

IPL Consultation For Men

This "add on' is for those clients who arrive without shaving and prepping prior to their appointment. Please note Brazilian areas etc will not be shaved or treated if you arrive without these areas being shaved prior to your arrival.
This add on is available for clients who are unable to shave eg back, shoulders etc... or (if time is available) those who forgot to shave.

This treatment starts just above the elbow and finishes at the wrist.

The chest is measured from just below the nipples to the base of the neck. The stomach is measured from just below the nipples to just below the belly button.

The Upper Back is measure from just above the base of shoulder blades to the base of the neck (Not including over  the arm of the shoulders). The Lower Back is measured from the base of the shoulder blades to just below the waist (or trouser line).

The "Full Back" is measured from the base of the neck to just below the waist (or trouser line).

Full Back IPL

This treatment includes IPL hair reduction over the entire buttocks from the sides of the hips and across the buttocks including everything in-between. ****Client must be shaved completely over IPL area prior to arrival****.
