Wonderfully relaxing, therapeutic aromatherapy massage. Ruth is a highly skilled, attentive and respectful practitioner. She asked how much pressure I was comfortable with. The massage was a combination of addressing knots and deeply soothing techniques. We exchanged snippets of conversation, but Ruth let me drift off in the most relaxing moments. Whilst not the most ambient room at first glance, that didn't matter as I was given an eye mask, and the massage was so nourishing. The fan kept the room cool, and the background soundtrack was at just the right level. Highly recommended.

I booked an Indian head massage as a gift for my husband, but was surprised to hear that he had instead been given a sports massage (not at his request, he must have assumed this is what I’d booked for him). By all accounts the sports massage was fine, but it definitely wasn’t the relaxing gift experience I’d intended for him to have on Father’s Day, so I’m disappointed, and will think twice before booking again.

Hi Chelsie, Sorry Ive only jusr seen this. I do apologise if it wasn't what you were expecting but also glad your husband was fine with the massage as I recall he was. Im sorry I can't recall the conversation I had with your husband on the 21st but I know usually with Indian head massage I give the client the option of having it seated as its traditionally done or on the couch as some people find sn hour seated is too long and hurts their back. I also give them the option of what sort of pressure they like so presumably your husband was fine with the pressure as I always check by asking the client. Also because some people find an hour of Indian head massage too long I often offer the other half hour to be whatever treatment they prefer. So maybe this is where the confusion came in but as I said I always gauge with the client what they prefer at the time. It always includes back, neck, head shoulders which is similar to other massage I dont pour oil on the head either ever.

Ruth has a lovely demeanour. She did an excellent deep tissue massage on my whole body - particularly focusing on my shoulders and lower back. I have booked a follow-up appointment with her.

I had a problem with my leg and back and I was in agony. After a visit with Ruth I felt like a different person. She worked on the problem areas and also on the areas attached to the problem. Couldn't recommend her enough. Its not my first time with Ruth and she has done miracles in the past.
