Deep Tissue Massage

Who can have MLD?
MLD is a treatment that is offered to most people, a full consultation will be completed before your treatment to ensure it is safe to proceed. 
I unfortunately cannot offer MLD to 
-Active cancer patients or clients with undiagnosed lumps
-Acute infections/fever
-Oedema as a result of heart, liver or kidney failure
-Blood clots and DVT 


Manual Lymphatic Drainage 

Working with a firmer pressure this deeper treatment can help ease your aches and pains. 
Deep tissue is not just for the body, it also relaxes your mind. Calming your nervous system and reconnecting the two. 

Assisted stretching is a fully clothed treatment where your therapist helps to ease you in to a mix of stretches that suit your limits and needs.  
You will leave with improved circulation, mobility and a relaxed nervous system. 
Stretching in the correct circumstances means we are able to reduce the stretch reflex helping to ease discomfort and pain. 
Who is Assisted stretching for?
Most clients benefit from a stretch session, especially those that are highly active, lifting heavy and playing sport. Clients who are not so active will also gain from the movement needed to keep joints and muscles healthy. Clients in the acute stages of injury will be asked to first seek medical attention before proceeding with treatment.
If you have hypermobility or a history of dislocation please advise your therapist and your treatment will be adapted accordingly. 
Clients with broken bones/history of surgery within the last 6 weeks will not be stretched. 

Assisted Stretch

A deep tissue massage combined with passive assisted stretching and the use of hot stones. 
This treatment helps to restore the natural mobility of the body as well as relaxing the mind, body and nervous system. 
It reduces pain and discomfort and relieves stress and anxiety.

Mixing hands and Basalt stones a Hot Stone Massage taps in to the deeper connections of the body and leaves you completely relaxed.
