Dermaplaning is a safe, effective and painless method of exfoliation where by using a surgical blade the skin’s outermost layer is lightly scraped removing any vellus hair (also known as peach fuzz), dirt, impurities and dead skin cells. This will stimulate new skin cell development and the results are immediate; glowing, brighter and smooth skin! This treatment is suitable for almost everyone, however if you have: thick and dark facial hair, overactive oily acne prone skin, hyper-sensitive skin and severe rosacea this treatment should be avoided.
A common question with dermaplaning is, will my facial hair grow back thicker? The answer is no! It is physiologically impossible for the vellus hair to grow back thicker. It is important to know there are two different types of hair on the body: vellus hair and terminal hair. Vellus hair cannot change into terminal hair and will not come back thicker or more visible.

What is Endymed FSR?
Endymed FSR is one of two advanced treatments we introduced this summer. We are proud to be the only clinic in Northern Ireland offering this treatment.
FSR (Fractional Skin Resurfacing) rejuvenates skin from the outside in. Combining Endymed’s 3DEEP radiofrequency technology with micro fractional ablation.
 
How does it work?
FSR delivers radiofrequency technology into the skin in 2 ways; micro resurfacing and dermal heating.
It works by penetrating heat 2.9mm into the dermis whilst gently ablating the skins surface. This triggers our skins natural healing process, producing collagen.
Deep dermal heating stimulates collagen production within the dermis which then continues to increase in the weeks following treatment. Micro fractional ablation treats the skins surface.
