Each new area to be treated is required to have a patch test prior to the IPL treatment. Please come tan free (natural tan or a fake tan we will not be able to carry out the patch test or the treatment) Please also leave the hair you are wanting treated so we can review this.

Are there any side effects?
The skin may be slightly red immediately after treatment, hair follicles may be swollen & bumpy but this usually subsides within a few hours. Unwanted reactions are rare but may include a small blister, bruising or grazes.

How many treatments are necessary?
Only hair that is actively growing is affected, therefore multiple treatments are required. Treatment is done every 4-8 weeks, depending on the area treated, until a satisfactory result is seen. The required number of treatments varies, but for optimum results 6+ treatments are needed.

Consultation procedure
A consultation is conducted to confirm suitability for treatment. Before treatment commences you must provide written consent & a small test patch will be carried out (please leave a small patch of hair in the area that you are wanting treated).
