Tightening the new growth of established locs with a crochet tool instead of just twisting the new growth.

Remove and re-braid the braids around the perimeter of your hair. ( one row around ĥair line of face & one row across nape of neck) , slick your edges down, re-curl the ends of your braids if needed, and oil your scalp.
