Remedial massage is a blend of relaxation massage and deep tissue techniques with a focus to remedy a particular area or ailment in the body. Remedial techniques are used to encourage the natural healing process for the focus area and a treatment plan is devised between the therapist and client. 

Please note that included in the treatment is time for pre & post assessment of the condition, posture, range of motion & discussion. First consultations may require more pre-assessment time.

Remedial Massage

Relaxation massage is a smooth, comforting style of massage that allows the muscles in the body to let go. The massage techniques used encourage an increase in blood circulation, stimulates the release of good endorphins and enables the body to rest, recover & heal.

Relaxation massage

Pregnancy massage can assist our Mums to feel nurtured & relieved of aches & pains due to the extra demand pregnancy can place on the body. Using the side lying method, this beautiful, relaxation massage ensures our Mums-to-be comfort and safety at all times. We also offer the chair position which allows for a more thorough massage on the back, shoulders & neck area.

Pregnancy Massage

In many cultures, women in postpartum enter a time called "confinement". This is where the mother focuses on resting and recovering from birth for the first 40 days post-birth and receives care through nutritious foods, herbal drinks & daily massage. 

This package is the ultimate recovery plan to help rebalance and relieve the body from any pain, tension or imbalances caused by pregnancy, birth or postpartum demands such as feeding and holding bub. 

You will receive a massage every 1-2 weeks to achieve the best results and assist with your body's healing within the 4th trimester. 

**Not for Home Visit use. Must be used within the first 12 weeks post birth.

Learn how to effectively massage your c-section scar to prevent or work out thickened scar tissue or adhesions.

Adhesions are when scar tissue heals onto other tissue or even organs like your bladder which can cause issues down the track. 

Daily massage of your scar can help prevent adhesions and promote elasticity and flexibility in your scar - especially important if you are to have another child and potentially a vaginal birth after caesarian (VBAC).

The initial consult will be your first appointment which includes a thorough overview of your health background, assessment of your posture and range of movement as well as recommendations of how to proceed at the end of the treatment. 

Postnatal massage is designed to help relieve and rebalance specific areas affected by pregnancy, birth & postpartum demands such as feeding & holding bub. 

These areas include the abdomen to assist in rebalancing the abdominal muscles, c-section scars, lower back/pelvic girdle pain, upper back & neck tension caused by feeding or poor posture & arms for carpel tunnel syndrome.

Pamper yourself or a loved one with the ultimate pamper package; a half hour foot soak & massage while sipping a cup of herbal tea, a full body relaxation massage and a deeply relaxing scalp & face massage - 90 mins

Releasing Treatment

For the intuitive souls; this treatment helps allow you to feel more grounded & cleansed of any heavy energy that could be surrounding you. You will float out of your treatment feeling light and utterly relaxed. 

The treatment includes a 30 min foot soak & massage while enjoying a cup of herbal tea, an intuitive energy cleanse burning sage & a full body relaxation massage - 90 mins

Grounding Treatment

The perfect duo 💗 this treatment includes a one hour full body relaxation massage plus a half hour foot soak and massage. 

Relaxation techniques are used to help the body relax and restore as well as provide relief to tight, achy muscles.

We often hold stress in our heads & necks which can cause fogginess, an inability to focus, headaches/migraines, tension in the jaw and can disrupt our sleep. 
This relaxation treatment focuses on relieving any tightness in the neck that can be the primary cause of tension headaches, while also focusing on providing relief to the scalp, temples, forehead and jaw. The ultimate treatment for the busy, rushing individual.  

Head Tension Massage

Our feet are often the most neglected parts of our body even though they are doing all the "running around" for us (pun intended). 
This treatment is tailored to help relax and soothe not only your feet but your entire body. We start with a relaxing foot soak in a warm foot bath with Epsom salts & essential oils followed by a relaxation foot and half leg (up to the knee) massage. We include the calves, ankles, shins and knees along with the feet in the massage.

Foot Soak & Massage 

This massage is specifically focused on relieving the neck and shoulders.
The treatment is a half an hour, relaxation or remedial massage and is ideal for those who find it difficult to book a longer treatment or just want a little extra TLC in between appointments.
