Deep Tissue Massage with herb infused oil enhances the effect of traditional massage by stimulating deeper layers of the muscles, fascia, blood vessels, nerves, etc. Very effective in relieving chronic neuralgia, myalgia, muscle spasms and stiffness, other musculoskeletal aches and pains and stress. This is very refreshing and thus, after a good Deep Tissue Massage one should feel, a sense of well being, relaxed, energised and lighter. The duration of the massage varies depending on the surface area of the client. If you are tall and big man I suggest you to consider taking massage for 1hr 25min and if you are a small woman then 45min should be sufficient.

This is a specific kind of facial with a nice firm massage over the face followed by the application of a gentle chemical peel using a combination of acids including trichloroacetic acid (TCA). This is a specific pressure point massage designed for people who do not like oil on their skin. This could be done during your short lunch break so you leave feeling lighter and rejuvenated. Post-Event Sports Massage

A relaxing Massage is provided with specific oil based on one's body constitution. This is a form of gentle and slow massage, which helps in relaxing the mind and body. It is useful for people suffering from stress, anxiety and insomnia. It also improves the lustre of the skin and helps in improving the cutaneous circulation. 50 min massage is suitable for women client. 75 min massage is suitable for a taller male client.

Relaxing Massage

A Swedish Massage is a soft and gentle massage performed using oil. This helps in relaxation and reducing stress. It also improves the lustre of the skin and helps in improving the cutaneous circulation. Swedish massage is not suitable if you are looking to address your aches and pains. If you have pain, you need to book for deep tissue or Ayurvedic massage. If you have pain and stiffness you need to book for Therapeutic Massage or hot bag massage or Sports Massage.

Swedish Massage

A de-stress Massage is provided with specific oil based on one's body constitution. This is a form of gentle and slow massage, which helps in relaxing the mind and body. It is useful for people suffering from stress, anxiety and insomnia. It also improves the lustre of the skin and helps in improving the cutaneous circulation. This is a perfect treatment for relaxing both the body and mind when combined with Shirodhara treatment.

De-Stress Massage

Massage is performed using a set of herb infused oils. The combination of herb infused oils and massage techniques are effective in relieving shoulder stiffness or pains caused due to constant strain on the trapezius, rhomboid, lats and erector spinae muscles.

Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage

Indian head massage is performed using various herb infused oil. The oil is chosen based on the desire of the outcome of the massage. Different oils are used for Insomnia, headaches, hair fall, dandruff, etc.

If you are healthy and you do not have any major illnesses you just need to find out your Dosha Prakruti (Normal Ayurvedic body Constitution / Phenotype) and recommendations for appropriate diet and Lifestyle changes.

During this Consultation we would assess or ask you about your current diet and lifestyle, skin type, hair type, eye colour, pulse examination, tongue diagnosis, etc and suggest appropriate recommendations for you based on what is mentioned in Ayurvedic classics. Additionally we may recommend you a counselling, follow up appointments, detox therapy, other Ayurveda therapy, or may be even some herbs if the Ayurveda Doctor feels something would help you based on your current condition.

You select this option only if you are looking for an Ayurvedic way of Diet and Lifestyle recommendations to maintain your health. 

Initial Ayurvedic Prakruti (Body Type) Analysis

Baliga Ayurveda is a clinic which provides Ayurvedic Consultations, Ayurvedic treatment and therapies, rejuvenation therapy, detox therapy, distressing techniques and management of various disorders associated with skin, joints, hormones, neurons, gut, heart, sex, obesity and lifestyle diseases. We also provide Consultation for Ayurvedic Prakruti (body type) Analysis and advice diet and lifestyle based on one's body type. Please feel free to reach out for further information.

We offer 4 different tiers of Consultation to fit in needs of different population groups. Please note we do not provide any learning experience during the consultations due to limited amount of time. It is wise to bring a list of questions you have in your mind and we shall try and answer them during the consultation or will send you a follow-up email regarding the same. Herbal Medicine and Supplements

Hot Bag Massage is one of the Ayurveda therapies, where the massage is carried out using a combination of warm Ayurvedic Oil, and heat therapy with the help of hot bag. It is useful in relieving muscle stiffness and pain. The pressure during the massage could be adjusted from Swedish to Deep Tissue depending on the condition and the requirements of the clients.

Hot Bag Massage

Marma Massage is a specialised Massage performed using specific Ayurvedic Oil picked based on one's individual needs. The Massage is performed by triggering the Maramas (acupressure points) using different intensity of pressure on different regions. These Marma points are Acupressure points which are activated during massage to release stress and tension. Some of us are believed to carry stress on our shoulders which, reflects as shoulder pain or stiffness. This massage followed by steam produces a sense of relaxation and lightness and detox like effect as some of the toxins are excreted via sweat. Very effective in treating, muscles spasms, chronic / deep seated pain and stiffness.

The Massage is performed in a specific order in 3 stages:

First Stage: In sitting position on a chair. It is started with the head massage using a specific oil. It could be either oils which are infused with herbs which, nourish the hair / relieves stress, tension and sleep inducing herbs.Eg. Bhrami oil

Marma Ayurvedic Massage

Shirodhara is a traditional Ayurvedic therapy suitable for relieving stress. After a quick consultation this therapy begins with a head, neck and shoulder massage. Then you are made to lay down in supine position and a stream of lukewarm Shirodhara oil is poured on your forehead for about half an hour to 45 min (subject to time). During Shirodhara you can go into a state of meditation to attain maximum benefit. This therapy is specifically helpful in reducing stress and stiffness in the shoulder muscles. Additionally, it helps in improving the memory and relaxes the mind. This is a perfect treatment for relaxing both the body and mind when combined with Ayurveda Abhyanga massage or De-stress massage. Shirodhara is a good way to unwind after a stressful week. Long term treatment plan with Shirodhara is helpful in treating chronic insomnia (sleeplessness), anxiety, neurological disorders, hypothyroidism, certain hormonal imbalances and diseases related to hypothalamopituitary axis. 

Shirodhara

Abhyanga (warm oil massage) is a traditional Indian Massage. Different herb infused Oils are used based on one’s Prakruti (body constitution) or Vikruti (disease condition). Massage followed by hot shower / steam helps in improving the circulation and flushing off toxins accumulated in the cells as well as intracellular spaces and relax the muscle tissues, stimulates the free nerve ending and the nervous, release endocrines, nourishes the skin and mildly exfoliates the skin. It is rejuvenating as well as therapeutic. We use a wide range of medicated oil specific to alleviate any skin, musculoskeletal or nerve related disorders or specific to the clients Prakruti or body constitution / type. Here the pressure can be adjusted between soft to deep depending on the client's requirement or desired therapeutic benefit. You need to specify to the therapist what you prefer a gentle massage or a harder form of massage so the pressure can be modified based on your needs.
