Hi Eleanor, I'm really sorry you didn't feel this was what you needed. I tried to focus as much on the lower back as possible, and we spent a good 1/3 of the 
60min session time on your glutes, hips and lower back. That said, we did discuss having a back, neck and shoulder treatment which you said yes to, and I do always look for other areas of tension in the body. Since your shoulders were very tight I did spend a good amount of time on them too. I'm sorry you were disappointed, I'd be happy to offer you 15% off your next session and we can do a much more targeted session if you like. Best wishes, Ellen

My massage was nice but I don't really feel that what we discussed at the beginning of the appointment was was acted on. I had said that my main problem was long-standing lower back stiffness/pain and that I wanted this to be the focus of the massage. Ellen asked if I also wanted my neck and shoulders treated, I said yes if there was time after my lower back. In the end, it was a nice massage, but it felt like most of the time was spent on my neck and shoulders with little attention to my lower back.

Aromatherapy massage // 50min

A tailored pregnancy aromatherapy massage with a personalised blend of essential and base oils. Oils are selected based on their safety for pregnancy and to help support you through the various stages. This is a reclined or side-lying massage with lots of bolsters, cushions and comfort, and is focused on addressing your emotional and physical needs during this beautiful but sometimes challenging time.

The treatment can include bump massage - but I will always do a full consultation with you first and make sure you are comfortable with any techniques and treatments. The aim is for you to leave feeling really nourished and supported so we'll work together to make sure the treatment is just right for you. 

I often focus on relieving lower back pain, shoulder and neck pain, pelvic pain, nausea, tension, anxiety and oedema or leg/ankle pain and tension, but it really is your time and so what we do will depend on your unique needs.

If you are pregnant or trying to conceive, and planning ahead for the various changes, challenges and joys pregnancy can bring, this 2.5hr 2-to-1 or 1-to-1 parents' aromatherapy and massage workshop will teach you how to make three aromatherapy blends for the various stages of pregnancy including labour.

You'll also learn some massage techniques to support yourself or your partner as they move through the various stages of pregnancy.  Aromatherapy and massage can be particularly helpful in pregnancy for helping to ease pain, anxiety and release tension from the body. 

Each workshop includes:
- Aromatherapy massage treatment for the pregnant client
- Demonstration and teaching pregnancy and labour massage techniques
- Co-creation of three organic aromatherapy blends to use during pregnancy, at birth and beyond
- Consultation and advice
- Complimentary herbal tea blend
