I requested a specific blow-dry style with bounce and volume. When Maddie started doing my hair, it became clear that she wasn’t experienced with this style, and she later told me that she doesn’t really do blow-drys with bounce. I appreciate Maddie being honest, but this should have been communicated before starting. When I first walked in, I specifically asked the co-worker if she could blow dry my hair, I was then told that Maddie was “really good.” If she wasn’t experienced with this type of blow-dry, I should have been told upfront rather than being reassured just to secure the booking
