Remedial deep tissue treatments work through the deeper tissue layers, including the use of elbows and arms for a deeper pressure using a warming muscle blend to warm through and relax the muscles for deeper tissue work.

Scar tissue formation is a natural part of the healing process when we injure a muscle tissue, ligament or tendon. The problem lies in the fact that scar tissue is not as strong or functional as the tissue that it replaces. There is a lack of flexibility in the tissue that in turn causes pain and dysfunction. Massage therapy helps break down scar tissue, encourages the formation of muscle tissue and reduces the swelling in soft tissue.
