Having never visited D2 before, I showed the receptionist a photo of the colour I wanted and was booked with a senior stylist. On the day, I was told the look wasn't achievable and could only have one all-over colour as it would take 8hrs if I wanted to achieve this look because of the process of the base colour, then adding highlights. I feel this should have been explained before I booked. I paid for a restyle and full head colour, but comparing my before and after photos, the only noticeable change is my roots. I left disappointed and don't feel I received the service or value for money

As a new client, a full consultation was carried out at the start of your appointment, as you’ve mentioned in your review. During this consultation, your stylist explained that the exact look shown in your inspiration photo was not achievable within a single appointment due to the current base colour of your hair and the time required to safely achieve your desired result. Rather than misinforming you, our stylist was transparent about what could realistically be achieved during your appointment and explained the process and timeframe needed to reach your end goal. Following this discussion, you chose to proceed with the agreed service based on the consultation provided. The salon owner will call you today to discuss this further with you.
