My name is Mishelle, and I have worked in the Beauty Industry for over 25 years, working as a therapist in various salons for the first 10 years of my career, and then gaining experience in more advanced skin treatments (peels, laser, IPL skin rejuvenation and hair reduction, skin needling and more) while working with Doctors, Dermatologists and Cosmetic Surgeons. Permanent Hair Reduction uses a technology similar to laser to reduce unwanted hair on the body. A series of 6-8 treatments is generally required, about 4-6 weeks apart. Hair must be darker than the surrounding skin for the treatment to be effective, and the treatment works best on lighter skin tones.

IPL Hair Reduction - Body Areas

IPL uses light-based technology similar to laser to permanently reduce unwanted hair from the face and body. A series of 6-10 treatments is usually required initially. Facial hair is often hormonal in its nature, so it may require some "top up" treatment down the track. This treatment works best on dark hair, on lighter skin tones. Consultation and testing is essential prior to starting a treatment program, please book a Consultation first. Consultation price is redeemable off treatment.

An in-depth analysis of your skin to enable us to recommend suitable treatment options for you. The consultation does not include any treatment however we will recommend suitable treatments for you, which can then be booked.

Skin Consultation

IPL is a fast and extremely effective way to treat a range of skin concerns such as redness and "broken" capillaries, pigmentation and sun-damage, discolored acne scars (brown/red/purple) and other signs of skin ageing. 
By using specific wavelengths (colours) of light, we can target different areas of the skin that create these unwanted imperfections. The light is absorbed by the coloured target (red blood vessels, brown pigment spots), and is converted to heat inside it. This heat denatures the proteins and destroys the target tissue, while leaving the rest of the skin largely unaffected. As a positive side effect, the residual heat actively benefits the skin by stimulating the skin to produce new collagen – thereby “rejuvenating” the appearance of the skin.
A series of 3-6 treatments is often recommended for best results.

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) Skin Rejuvenation

The delicate eye area is comprised of much thinner skin than the rest of the face. As such it tends to be one of the first areas of the face to show the signs of ageing - loss of firmness, fine lines and wrinkles. The eye area is also prone to dryness, dehydration and dark circles.
Our Eye Zone Treatment intensively rehydrates, smooths and firms the eye contours with a rejuvenating Oxygen Infusion and our targeted Eye Masque Patches.

Eye Zone Treatment

LED light therapy uses a specific type of red light which activates the cells in our skin. The light energy improves cell functioning, increases the production of cellular energy and new skin substances such as collagen and hyaluronic acid. The red light also inhibits inflammatory processes which can damage the skin and cause premature ageing. This has a regenerating and rejuvenating effect on the skin, helping to restore healthy functioning and  a more youthful appearance. LED can be done as a stand-alone service, or added on to any other Facial or skin treatment to boost the benefits and results.

LED Skin Rejuvenation

The inflammation (redness, swelling and pus formation) of acne is caused by bacterial activity within the blocked-up pores. 
While some of our Acne treatments work by helping to unblock the excess oil and dead skin from the pores, Blue light targets the bacterial activity. Blue light creates an antibacterial effect on the skin by activating certain chemical molecules which are released by acne bacteria. When these molecules are activated by the blue light, we see a chemical reaction inside them which results in the production of Oxygen. Oxygen destroys the acne bacteria, and we then see a reduction in the infection and inflammation of acne lesions.
Weekly treatments are usually required initially, then decreasing to fortnightly or monthly treatment as we achieve control over the breakouts.      


Blue Light Therapy for Acne

Reveal a fresher complexion with a series of Skin Peels. We offer a range of different Peels, depending on your skin type and concerns. 
Peels use different kinds of Hydroxy Acids (AHAs/BHAs) which break down the “glue” that holds the skin cells together. This produces a rapid exfoliation of the surface layers of dead skin, and helps reveal fresher, clearer skin below. Improves conditions such as congestion and acne, pigmentation, textural imperfections and ageing concerns.
A series of 3-6 Peels is usually recommended for best results.

Spa Relaxation Package

We start with Body Exfoliation using one of our hand-made Salt Scrub blends, then apply a warmed mask to your body. You will relax for 20 minutes, which allows the mask to soften, smooth and condition the skin, draw impurities from the tissues, and stimulate the circulation of blood and lymph throughout the body to eliminate waste products. This process is known as “detoxification” which improves not only the skin, but the health and wellbeing of the whole body.

Body Scrub & Wrap

Smooth yourself from top to toe with our luxurious Body Salt Scrubs. We use our own hand-made scrubs featuring purifying Himalayan Salt crystals, infused with a variety of natural extracts. 
First we pour warmed oil over your skin, then sprinkle the fragrant salts over the top of this, and massage over the whole body.  The salts exfoliate rough, dry skin and draw impurities from the tissues, while the oils smooth and deeply nourish the skin.
The salts are removed with steaming warm towels, leaving you feeling soft and smooth all over.
