A hidden gem, where I can switch off from my busy mind and every day life. I have had several treatments so far but my latest visit was for an Indian Head Massage. 
The aromas from the products were devine.

This is my second rhug facial with Judith.  The room was lovely and warm, booties were placed on my feet and I was out completely at ease by Judith’s calm manner. Mukhabhyanga (Ayurvedic Face Lift) – 60 minutes

Shirodhara is one of the most well-known Ayurvedic treatments with many wonderful benefits – including a calmer, clearer mind, complete relaxation and improved sleep quality. This is a signature treatment which was reserved for royalty in ancient times. 

During shirodhara, warm oils tailored to your dosha type are gently poured over the forehead marma point (also known as the third eye). The slow, rhythmic movement of the oils in a continuous flow induces deep relaxation throughout the whole body and completely quietens the mind. 

Shirodhara helps to improve mental clarity, reduces ‘monkey mind’ chatter and supports deep rest and calm. Beginning with a holistic marma facial massage, this blissful treatment is a meditation in motion, allowing you to switch off completely and rest fully. 

Benefits: Complete relaxation and stress release, relief from sinus issues, insomnia, anxiety support

Shirodhara – 60 minutes

Reiki is a technique that uses energy force to reduce stress and anxiety and encourage relaxation. The method uses gentle touch and placement for healing and tries to improve balance in your body. It does not treat conditions on its own but can be used to support traditional treatment you may receive. The Client remains fully clothed and a blanket is provided for extra comfort.

Ayurvedic head, neck and shoulder massage

This soothing yet invigorating detoxifying treatment focuses on key marma points and rejuvenates and relaxes the head, neck and shoulder area to relieve pain and stiffness. Incorporates nourishing scalp massage with Ayurvedic oils to ease tension and encourage enhanced hair strength and growth. A great starting point or introductory treatment for those new to Ayurveda.

Shirobhyanga (Indian Head Massage) - 45 minutes 

Fremhevet

An ancient traditional Ayurvedic full body massage designed to support complete physical and mental wellness, which uses flowing strokes guided by the circulatory system and pressure applied to specific marma points throughout the body for 75 minutes continuously. Warm detoxifying, nourishing Ayurvedic oils are carefully selected according to your unique dosha type. 

Benefits: Deep relaxation, detoxification, supple skin and support with skin complaints such as dry skin and eczema, enhanced energy levels. 

Clients report a sense of wellness for several days after treatment.



Abhyanga (Full Body Massage) – 90 minutes 

Uniquely powerful detoxifying abdominal massage 

This soothing treatment supports gut health and improves digestion, as we focus solely on the stomach to tone and support the organs with a soothing massage and oil treatment. Ideal for those suffering with abdominal discomfort (including bloating, period pain and cramps). 

Benefits: Improved gut health and digestion, weight loss, constipation relief, soothes pains and cramps, calms the nervous system. 


Nabhi Abhyanga (Abdominal Massage) - 40 mins 

Slimming, detoxifying, exfoliating treatment

Unique to Ayurveda, Udvartana helps to remove excess water and waste products from the body through the vigorous application of warm oil, 
followed by brisk exfoliating herbal powder friction to remove excess oil. 

Followed by 2nd application of ground Ayurvedic herbal powder which help to break down any subcutaneous fatty deposits.

*This treatment works best in conjunction with an existing weight loss program including following an appropriate diet/nutrition plan. Udvartana (Detox Treatment) – 60 minutes 

Combination of two treatments. For clients needing that little extra time on the couch. Grounding restorative treatment for the feet and face.

An extended signature treatment, combining a nourishing facial with a soothing warm oil foot massage to rebalance and reconnect body and mind. A unique combination of two iconic Ayurvedic treatments in one for total relaxation and restoration.

Benefits: Grounding, rebalancing, deep relaxation


‘The Sacred Thread’  feet to head

A gentle yet powerful rebalancing treatment unique to Ayurveda

Nourishing, continuously warmed oil is poured into a well of pre-prepared gram flour ‘dough well’ for concentration on one specific area . The heat (which is carefully maintained through constant replacement of the oil within the ring of dough) enables the healing properties of specially selected herbs to soak deeply into the skin & tissues.
Various areas can be supported with this treatment, including the stomach, heart, knee and lower back.  

Benefits: Deeply relaxing, soothing and calming. Releases stiffness of muscles, aches & pains.
Eases discomfort and inflammation in specific areas.
A gentle massage of the area afterwards assists in clients relaxation. 

Kati Vasti - 60 minutes

Beneficial soothing treatment which incorporates gentle warm oil pouring routine in a ‘Dough well’ placed on the chest area. Continually exchanged warm oil to nourish the heart area. A gentle massage of clavicle area after the oil pouring, completes this beautiful treatment. Leaves client very relaxed calm and is an invaluable treatment anyone suffering from stress or grief.


 Hiridaya Vasti - 60 minutes

Incorporates gentle abdominal massage with oil followed by a ‘ring of dough’ on belly button area and warm oil pooled into the reservoir. Clients find this experience very comforting & nurturing around  the middle of their menstrual cycle.

Can also be approached from a gut / digestive discomfort issues and constipation.

Foot and lower leg massage 

Rapid and lasting relief for heavy, tired, aching feet and legs. This deeply relaxing massage is a healing experience in itself, which reduces swelling and brings the whole body into balance through releasing blocked energy and grounding from the feet upwards, paying special attention to marma points around the joints such as ankles and knees and reflexes on the feet to calm and centre. 

Benefits: Improves poor circulation, reduces swelling, pain and tired legs, relieves stress 

Ayurvedic foot and lower leg massage with warm herbal oil. Points  worked on entire plantar aspect of foot as well as dorsal . Deeply nourishing treatment in every sense,  a thorough massage linking to each organ of the body for calming or giving a boost to specific areas depending on what imbalances need addressing .


Padabhyanga (Foot and Lower Leg Massage) – 45 minutes 

Reflexology

Deeply relaxing, luxurious nourishing facial using organic Rhug Wild Skincare products from the Rhug Estate in Corwen, North Wales.

Tansy oil, dandelion, elderflower, bergamot, heather & nettle to name a few.

The skincare collection is a truly organic and unforgettable sensory experience of fragrance and touch. The face is cleansed and exfoliated before facial massage is performed including the décolleté. A mask tailored for your skin type is applied and hand massage performed whilst you relax.

Treatment is completed with serum, vitamin rich Bakuchiol, eye cream & moisturiser.
