It was lovely to meet Skye while we were visiting Mackay. She gave a lovely curly kids cut to my 11 year old daughter, sharing her knowledge on how to take care of young hair. My daughter is very happy with her new hair.

The best hairdresser in Mackay. I have always struggled with my hair because not a lot of people know how to treat curly hair. My hair feels amazing thank you so much. Highly recommended and will definitely be back. All the staff are lovely best experience I have ever had.

Zara was fantastic , taking time to make sure my hair was even when she was cutting it and when she put the colour into hair it came out a beautiful colour (to cover my greys) . Very happy with her . Good on you again Zara, I will booking in with you next time .thank you .

Great atmosphere, great to hear everyone chatting and having fun. Really got pampered Head massage was amazing, just needed a blanket after it for a nap lol. What an amazing salon! From the moment you walk in the door you can feel such a great vibe! I had a fairly disastrous experience with a salon in Mackay, however Rochelle put me at ease straight away and did an amazing job with my hair! I can't wait for my next appointment!

Avaia Hair is my happy place. All the ladies here are lovely. My hair feels so soft and looks amazing after each visit. Overall, I’d say there is no salon in Mackay that comes close.

Sarah Jane did such a beautiful job with my hair! I was nervous to try a new stylist after mine moved salons, but she is so talented and gave me beautiful highlights that are very natural and soft. She was also so warm and welcoming! I definitely recommend her.
