So happy with my new hair. Thank you Sophie and Rhys. The salon is so accommodating to all requests and needs. It’s like a home away from home. Consultation was thorough and the result was amazing. I felt so comfortable and both Sophie and Rhys are attentive and friendly. Would certainly recommend making a booking. What a wonderful addition to Newport!

I’ve been coming here for years, even after moving out of Newport – it’s definitely worth the drive. I never regret going and they’ve helped my hair recover from poor treatment elsewhere. The team is incredibly professional and truly care. My hair has improved so much over the years thanks to their guidance, and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with it. Highly recommend

This was my first experience of Riff Raff and meeting Rhys, I absolutely loved it! Rhys was really friendly, knowledgeable about the kind punky/ alternative style I have + ones I would like to have or work towards. He checked everything with me, and talked through what he was doing and why, which I appreciated as well. I left the salon with a punky style I'm really pleased with, as well as feeling inspired for future styles as well as colours. Having such a vegan friendly, cruelty free, LGBTQ+ friendly, and kind space in Newport is amazing. Already looking forward to heading back 😊

For the last 5 years I have had difficulty in finding a salon that has expertise in Afro Caribbean curly hair. Harrison Rabbit salon in Newport were amazing. Molly was reassuring and explained what she was doing, plus gave me advice on handling my hair and products available. My hair looked stunning when I left the salon and now have the option of wearing it down in a straight or curly style. Will be returning and taking my daughter with me. Molly my new style has given me back some of my confidence . Thank you so much. X

Another really good experience at Harrison Rabbitt. I find the staff welcoming and friendly which makes the world of difference. Molly cut my hair again and did a lovely blow dry. Really, really pleased with both. She always listens to any thoughts I have about my hair but also gives suggestions based upon her experience and expertise. Had a lovely cup of tea and a biscuit too. Highly recommend this salon.

Lovely atmosphere, very pleased with my cut and blow dry which was exactly as I wanted. Great staff, lovely to see great advice and training being given to an apprentice. My experiences have been very indifferent with regards to satisfaction of cut, however, I think I have found my regular salon from now on. Will definitely be returning.
