I've had the same Justin Bieber haircut since high school. After about 11 years of not really caring about my hair, I decided to start trying since I got a nice job and am going to be 30 soon. I hate haircuts. I'm always disappointed by them and I always avoid them. After looking around Kingston I went with Jimmy; it was exactly what I needed. He used so much precision that I felt like his sculptural art project, and he spent so much time and attention to my needs that I felt like a real person at his salon, not just another number. As long as I'm in Kingston, I'm never going anywhere else.

Absolutely LOVED my experience here! They are so knowledgeable about hair care and are very nice! I scheduled a wash and blowout and it was an amazing experience! My stylist took his time and was a joy to spend time with while being pampered! I will definitely be back next time I'm in Kingston!

Colleen did an amazing job, I love my curtain bangs and layers! She checked in with me throughout the appointment to make sure she was doing what I wanted. She was also very friendly and inviting! I will definitely be coming back here and making this my go-to Kingston salon :)

Everyone at the studio was so kind and welcoming. It can be difficult when you're neurodivergent to find a stylist and studio that's a good fit, but I finally feel like I've found the right fit for me. On a last-minute whim, I called around a couple of hair salons to see if I could get my haircut. Jimmy himself answered the telephone, and said I was welcome to come right in. Unfortunately, there was an event downtown, and I spent more than a half an hour looking for a parking place, so I called their office back to let them know that it wouldn’t likely work outit would be past their closing hour. However, Jimmy was very accommodating, and told me that he would wait until I was able to find a parking place. Boy, am I glad he did! Hands-down, one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had!

Every time I go to the refinery it immediately reduces any stress levels walking into the clam and welcoming oasis overlooking market square in downtown Kingston. Can’t top the experience they provide!

Kali has done my haircut for me twice this year and she is awesome. I have never had a stylist ask me how I usually dry/style my hair to make sure that the cut reflects my day to day routine. As everyone knows your hair always looks great after getting it done... but she takes into consideration wavy/curly hair and how it would look after too! Thanks again Kali, you have won me over. MacKenzie did a fantastic job on my eyebrows with no appointment after the cut, which was very convenient! Thanks to both these lovely ladies you have working for you!
