I've had the same Justin Bieber haircut since high school. After about 11 years of not really caring about my hair, I decided to start trying since I got a nice job and am going to be 30 soon. I hate haircuts. I'm always disappointed by them and I always avoid them. After looking around Kingston I went with Jimmy; it was exactly what I needed. He used so much precision that I felt like his sculptural art project, and he spent so much time and attention to my needs that I felt like a real person at his salon, not just another number. As long as I'm in Kingston, I'm never going anywhere else.

This salon is beautiful. Evie did a great job cutting my hair. I love it. Highly recommend.... ohhh and they have wine on their menu. It's a win win.

On a last-minute whim, I called around a couple of hair salons to see if I could get my haircut. Jimmy himself answered the telephone, and said I was welcome to come right in. Unfortunately, there was an event downtown, and I spent more than a half an hour looking for a parking place, so I called their office back to let them know that it wouldn’t likely work outit would be past their closing hour. However, Jimmy was very accommodating, and told me that he would wait until I was able to find a parking place. Boy, am I glad he did! Hands-down, one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had!

Kitana is an awesome hair stylist! She's a great conversationalist and is super kind, ensuring that I had everything I needed while at the salon. She's highly skilled and made sure I was happy with my colour and cut before leaving the chair. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a new hair stylist!

My experience with Blunt Hair Studio was excellent. I was greeted by Kitana, who was very friendly and asked me if I wanted anything to drink while I waited for my appointment. My stylist Elyse was amazing. She really listened to what I had to say, asked a lot of questions and was totally on board with what I wanted to do. I usually avoid salons choosing to go once every two or three years because I always feel so uncomfortable. Elyse and the other ladies made me feel welcome and a part of the conversation. I'd love to be a lifelong customer of Elyse and I will absolutely be coming back. :)

Absolutely LOVED my experience here! They are so knowledgeable about hair care and are very nice! I scheduled a wash and blowout and it was an amazing experience! My stylist took his time and was a joy to spend time with while being pampered! I will definitely be back next time I'm in Kingston!

10/10!!!! Great vibe and experience in this wee salon tucked into lower Princiess St. Kitana took great care with my locks and took the time to learn my hair woes and wins. She looked at some photos I’d brought and crafted a coif exactly how I wanted given was not able to put into words what it was. She talked me through how to style and get a salon look at home and what I should be looking for in hair products for my hair type. Will be back for sure.

The while experience was relaxing and easy, went in not really sure what I wanted and left feeling fully satisfied with my haircut. I appreciate being taught how to care for and style my new cut. Will definitely be back. Also very friendly staff! I think I found my new regular place to go.

Wonderful! Jimmy listened to me, knew what I wanted, and did a terrific job. He layered my hair and enhanced my natural curls. He spent a long time carefully cutting my hair, which had not been cut for a long, long time and was a real mess. Bravo, Jimmy.

My son had very long hair and it was time for it to go. I wasn’t sure how the whole thing was going to go as my son is very ticklish and fidgety, lucky the barber pulled through and had so much patience for my son. The hair cut was perfect and definitely met my expectations! Oh and the price was definitely affordable and worth it!
