I visited Nubian Crown in Hyde Park for a microloc retie and had a fantastic experience. I booked online using the Fresha app and had no hassles when I got to the salon. The retie was done by Zintle and co, who were both incredibly professional and fast. We finished within 3 hours. The interlocking process was painless (which is huge for me). The salon itself is clean and has a great upmarket vibe. Highly recommend it if you want your natural hair treated with care. Definitely worth the price!

Veronica gave me beautiful curly twists and did so with such skill and care. From the moment we began, her warm and gentle attitude put me at ease — something I truly value, especially because I have a very sensitive scalp. She braided my cornrows with such tenderness and precision that I was genuinely surprised at how comfortable the whole experience was. On top of that, she kept perfect time and carried herself with such hroughout. Her combination of speed, gentleness, and grace is rare, and I’m incredibly grateful to have had my hair done by her. Great experience as always at Anne's salon. They really care about client's hair. Love the individual rooms because one can work while having the hair done. Would have loved to give score of 5 just my bun was not the size shown. Must commend Anne for trying to fix it. Better communication from both ends will help avoid such mishaps.

Was impressed by Mwezi's professionalism, it was my first time having had my locks for almost 24years, I can say he is one of the best stylists I've come across,he is friendly and knows his stuff. Was really wowed by his skills, the apple cider dexox was done professionally and I could feel that my lovks were left clean, and looked much healthier than before. The deep conditioning felt refreshing. I really liked the way he retwisted and styled my hair, loved the gentle hands. Keep it up Carlos you are amazing

Impeccable, welcoming service. My stylist, Karabo was very friendly, efficient and accommodating. All the staff are very friendly. I'm very happy with my hairstyle, it looks amazing. My only gripe is that I skipped a wash and blow dry because my hair was already prepared but still paid full price, so I just wish it was clear that the price on the website is the base for the style/labour excluding a wash/dry. - Lili <3

I’ve been searching for a salon that truly understands and cares for natural hair for both myself and my daughter and I’ve finally found it. The love and delicacy that goes into every strand is unmatched. Thandeka was absolutely wonderful with my daughter, showing patience and gentleness that made her feel comfortable. Sophia was professional, kind and took the time to explain each step of the process while working on my hair.
