I can't describe how relieved I felt as Julie started on my hair. I miss my curly girl haircuts and love Curl Divinity being back in a familiar spot. My "test" is always the day after when I set my own curls after a shower....and lo behold, spring, shape and everything I was hoping for and Julie took the time to explain pre-cut, "dry" cut, and after for final snip. My hair has been getting wavier lately and I wanted a cut to bring out the curl more. Keith listened to me first before even starting on my hair, to get an idea of what I wanted and what my current routine is. He then helped me figure out a routine to do at home. I’m more than pleased with the results! He rescued my hair from a very bad cut I had a few months back (at a different salon) with someone who didn’t listen to me at all, and instead straightened my hair. Plus he brought out wave in the back that I didn’t know was possible.

My first time at Curl Divinity and it was great! Everyone was smiling and friendly! It smelled good and it was nice and warm on the coldest day of the year. Nevila was my first curly stylist and loved her cuts for years before I moved out of state. After getting subpar curly cuts for the past couple of years I decided to come back to Nevila and she came through, as usual. Highly recommend the salon and the stylist!

I had a wonderful experience at the salon with Nevila today! Ever since my favorite salon (Devachan) closed, I’d been searching (without much luck) for a place or stylist that came close to what I was used to. Until today. It was such a joy to finally find someone who truly understands and honors how to work with curly hair. Trish worked wonders with my long, wavy, yet frizzy hair (top layer). She cut it in a way that allowed the waves/curls to air dry and still look great! She gave excellent advice on what products would work the best for air drying and keeping the waves in tact. She has also given me a great blowout with lots of movement for when I don't want my hair to be wavy. The blow out lasts almost an entire week!

Very efficient and gave excellent advice on keeping the braids in place to get the waves I want tomorrow when I take them out

TRish was wonderful. She talked me through various ideas for my cut and how to shape my hair, and give it good volume.

This was my first cut and blow dry with Alon, and I am so happy! He REALLY listened to me, was happy to consult with me, and he FIXED my hair from the last (terrible) haircut I got. I had been extremely disappointed with the last cut, but Alon knew just what to do to make my hair look good again. He definitely knew how to work with my unruly, curly hair and to give it body and bounce. Now, I am so happy with the way my hair looks (which I wasn't at all when I walked into the shop.) Absolutely amazing, not only is the environment beautiful, the workers are fantastic and assist you at every turn. I got a perm today and it came out exactly how I envisioned it, compared to any other salon in New York, this has to be the best one by far.

The smell of Perm products was really strong today ..don't know if it's possible to do those are treatments in separate Little room at front as whole Place smelled like rotten eggs and cannot be good for lungs!
