Jeff has been cutting my hair before and ever since he started at The Gentry. He's always been good, and is still excellent. Also, an interesting person to chat with, which is essential for a good technical barber to be "a good all-rounder". Has become a good friend too since he lived near me and was in our pub quiz team for some years.

I love Leonie and her staff. As she says to me “your hair is not the centre of your universe” so it is so reassuring to have someone who helps me to make decisions about colour, cuts, fringes. Also I had the best head massage ever today , I wanted to crawl up on the green couches and undo all that lovely hairstyling with a sleep

Kim is very good at skin fades especially for difficult thick Asian hair. His attention to detail is top notch. His fade is one of the very best in Auckland.

Great haircut

I have been a Customer of Gilt and before that Vada - Leonie's previous Salon (jointly owner) for 20 years. Leonie Does a suburb job in cutting and styling both Men and Women's hair,. I am blessed that while of the more mature generation, I have a very good Head of Hair which has to be cut regularly. Leonie also has excellent staff working for her. too. As an aside, they also make Great Coffee .while you relax in your chair.. Highly Recommend!!

Pete has been cutting my hair for close to 25 years! My hair is very curly and "tricky" and I always get compliments on how well it is cut. Pete's not only a highly skilled hair dresser but also comes up with new ideas to keep my look fresh! He's the best! Can't recommend him highly enough

This was my first time here, and I had an amazing experience. After visiting many salons over the past 21 years, I truly felt welcomed here. I explained the look I was going for to Sreylak, and she nailed it! It was the first time my hair didn’t look flat at the top, and it even looked great the next day with just a few minutes of styling. My hairdresser really listened to me and gave me a cut better than I had expected. I would trust Sreylak with my eyes closed!
