Sam is a delight while he cuts your hair, an expert at what style and length best suits your skin and face shape. Struggled for some time to find someone who knows how to properly cut black and thick hair like mine but he did the job! Will be coming back again soon

We moved into Maida Vale neighborhood some time ago and I’ve been doing my hair with Sam and his team since then. I am very happy I’ve found their salon! I use demi permanent color for my hair and it is not always easy for me to get the color and the coverage that I want. Sam works with great organic products that look good and cover grays nicely. He understood what I wanted immediately and he is always able to get me there. I also like that he skillfully adjusts the formula based on my look at each session. Sam is very talented and his team is also nice and welcoming. I am a happy client.

I love my hair cuts at Mathews. It’s a wonderful experience. He has so much experience of hair styling but is charming, entertaining and interesting.

The hairdresser was very gentle and kind. There was an extra £10 charge for a curly blow dry that hadn’t been noted, but the salon kindly waived it on this occasion x

Not only was I super happy with how my hair looked I went from feeling like a 5/10 to 1000/10. She is amazing at what she does. And I will happily travel the 2 and a half hours I have to come and have it done again and again. It’s so easy to manage and maintain and she explained in detail the aftercare to manage the hair and advised me of the products. She is so kind and I would/have recommended her to everyone. It was my first time having LA weave and I will never look back at getting anything other than this.

I have been a client of Matthew’s for at least 10 years . He is just the best hairdresser ever and I am always being complemented on my hair by other people . He gives fantastic service and listens to what you say at each visit . I travel 130 miles to see him and none of them is wasted .
