We’ve had different types of massages from all over the world, but the Thai-specific massage at Charleston Thai Massage was by far the most authentic. *Disclaimer* You must know what you’re getting yourself into when you request a Thai massage. It can be very painful, but extremely rewarding afterwards with the many health and relaxation benefits. My therapist did a phenomenal job. Really got into the areas I had requested and I feel absolutely amazing. She listened and adjusted pressure as I needed while still effectively working out the knots and tension. I've been using massage therapy to aid in my personal health and relaxation for almost 20 years and I can easily say the therapists I've had here have been among the top of my experiences. Superb service! First I want to express, they are mindful and very diligent about time and I love that! I walked in with decreased range of motion in my neck, stiff back, and hips. By the time the therapist began working on my feet (still face down mind you) and incorporated some stretches, I felt so limber and flexible. What was very surprising was the way the heels of my feet felt walking afterwards. I did not have my normal feeling of achy-ness. Guess that wasn’t normal to have that feeling lol. Needless to say, phenomenal service. Monthly maintenance is set!

Very professional, strongest woman I have ever met. I have had many a small oriental therapist walk all over me and their respective weight is no more than 114lbs. My therapist has forgotten she has gained many pounds over this so the only help I can provide is for her not to use her entire weight on my individual limbs and should never fully stand on one's back ribs especially if they have been broken in an accident many years ago. She can still do all she does with making sure she modulates her weight. (Think 50% of weight pressure and 50% weight that is off of said client. Thank you!!

Came in just to get a relaxing swedish massage but Mona recognized some tightness and areas and work them out! It was more intense than I had anticipated but I trust her judgment and I feel better now.

Well worth it. Wavy gives a comprehensive deep massage and covers every part and then some. She knows how to find the knots and sore spots and is careful not to be too rough on sensitive spots. she’s a life saver for me my entire body feels better after every session.
