I came to Tala Beauty Bar for laser hair removal on my back and shoulders. They use the Venus Velocity diode laser, and the results have been impressive even early on. It’s rare to find this level of technology and quality at such fair pricing in downtown Toronto. Mina was excellent and very patient, and she made sure everything was done properly. I felt comfortable throughout the entire session. I’ll be continuing the rest of my treatments here. Highly recommend.

One of the best lash lifts I’ve ever gotten! My natural lashes are super straight and I don’t know how she did it, but the lash tech got them super curled and tinted — I usually need waterproof mascara and a heated lash curler to get my lashes to look like this. It’s also one of the most affordable lash lifts I’ve found in Toronto so far. 11/10!

Wonderful experience from arrival to departure. My stylist was friendly, professional and provided a great blowout. Craig, the manager, was very helpful - even taking time out to provide me with some excellent local restaurant recommendations (to dive as a local might). All this from a hair appt made in a hurry while visiting Toronto for biz and personal time. Could not recommend this place more highly!

I loved the Japanese gel manicure service from From M -Tokyo-! I booked the Monthly Special with nail artist Sayo and requested different colors from the promotion. She managed to make my tiny, dry nails look healthy and beautiful! Sayo is sweet, friendly, and attentive—I felt well taken care of! Everyone in the salon, including the owner, is very welcoming. The space is gorgeous; you feel like a princess stepping into a castle. I highly recommend From M -Tokyo- salon anytime you want to treat yourself! 🌸✨

I had such a great experience with Mery! She was incredibly attentive to every detail and took her time to make sure everything was perfect. Her nail art skills are truly amazing — she is so talented and creative. The final result turned out absolutely beautiful and she did a phenomenal job. Mina did an amazing job with my lip blushing! She was super professional, gentle, and really took the time to explain everything and make sure I was comfortable. Ayanna was so amazing!! She’s so friendly, offers great conversation, and is so patient! She made sure to check in with me throughout the appointment to make sure I was satisfied and made sure everything was just how I liked it. Honestly a perfect experience. Ariana the receptionist was so sweet, friendly, and helpful. She spoke with respect and treated me like a friend. She’s awesome. Natalie my lash artist was also totally amazing. She was patient with me and listened to exactly what I wanted and she absolutely nailed it. My lashes are perfect and I will definitely be coming back. The place is also so cool and cute inside. It really felt like I was hanging out with my friends at a super stylish venue. The vibes were immaculate. This is by far the best experience I’ve ever had at a Lash Studio. 11/10

My experience with Volk Beauty has been unmatched! Recently I asked Tetiana to do my make up and hair for my baby shower as I knew there were going to be a lot of photos taken. The quality of service and products were AMAZING! Literally only the best was used to create the look I wanted. Tetiana made me feel so comfortable and beautiful. Nataliia, also joined the session to support and also did my lash extensions a week prior, which I absolute am obsessed with. Everyone was giving me compliments. They’re so talented! I came here for the first time today after finding the salon on Fresha (i removed my acrylic nails late at night and was looking to put bio gel on) and after reading the reviews i booked with mia. Upon arriving, i was greeted by many of the girls working there, was asked to sign in and if i knew what colour i wanted. The girls helped me pick a colour and when mia saw my nails, she recommended gel x instead if bio gel as its a more gentle application to my nails that were super thin. she gave me great customer service the whole time making sure i was comfortable and happy! Very affordable too!
