I've been wanting to go super short with my hair and was referred to Wendy via the Denver Boss Babes and WOW - am I so happy I booked with her!!! I LOVE my hair cut/style and have a new place to come back to! She is so easy to talk to, gets my thick, wavy hair and offered up some fun ways to style and wear it with how I got it cut. Wendy is amazing! I feel like my hair now perfectly matches my personality, which is a testament to how Wendy took the time to understand both me and my hair. The atmosphere is great, and she uses thoughtful products. As a queer person, it's wonderful to find safe spaces, especially for hair, as it plays a significant role in our identities and uniqueness. I’ve been going to Wendy for fashion coloring for 8 years. No one knows color like Wendy. My natural color is dark brown and in all that time my hair has been healthy. I’ve gone from teal to green to purple to orange to red. She always knows the (sometimes multistep) process to move from one color to the next so I always end up with the exact color I want. She uses Pulp Riot color and bleach, and when possible a non-bleach color remover. She’s not afraid to be honest about what can be done and the transition process to get there. I’m out of room but she’s the absolute best.

I have short hair and it can be difficult to find someone who can cut short hair well. Wendy is a talented hair artist who has done a wonderful job taking my ideas and making them reality. She asks questions and truly listens to what you say. She’s also enjoyable to talk to, with interesting perspectives on the ins and outs of the hair industry. I’m pleased to have found her and plan to be her client for as long as she will have me.
