Daniela was fantastic - knew exactly what I wanted - small trim and then blow dry straight (as I have naturally curly hair). She was very professional and kept me informed of each stage of how she was going to trim before blow dry and then tidy up afterwards. Would fully recommend - Sequoia in Newbury has a wonderful calming atmosphere - and all the staff were so friendly.

I hadn't been in to Gould Barbers Newbury for a while, but when I visited today Lita remembered my name, my daughter's name, my favourite TV shows etc. She actually cares about her repeat customers and takes a genuine interest in them. Today I got another great haircut from Lita, and whilst cutting my hair she was supervising an apprentice ensuring that they gave their client a haircut that matched her high standards. Excellent wonderful to have reconnected with both Joseph and Emily, both of whom I had been to for many years. They are so experienced, professional and just so happy I have discovered their new place. The other people working there so helpful it was a great atmosphere in both Elcot & Newbury

Great first experience at Elcot Park Retreat and I really appreciated not feeling rushed. I left with a great hair cut which was just what I wanted hence the 5***** review. It’s a beautiful setting too so worth a ten minute drive from Newbury.

Super but assistants are needed for blow drys at Elcot if you are offering colours otherwise the service is not as good as the Newbury salon. Twice now told there isn’t time or capacity for a blow dry which is disappointing.
