Hello, I'm a mature lady who lives in Tropical North Queensland. Walking around Cairns I observed how shabby and shaggy the average person's lanky, long hair looked. Then horror of all horrors I saw a reflection of myself in a shop window. I was also one of the "shaggiest"! This lead to much researching of the total 40 odd hairdressers in Cairns. I needed an updated style that would show my femininity. I found Lexie at Vault Ninety One. If I moved to Timbuctoo I'd travel back to this truly talented stylist who has made my hair and my life brighter.

Got an epic cut and beard trim at Cartel Collective. Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had. Harrison took the time to do a proper consultation first, really understood what I was going for, and then absolutely nailed the result. The cut is clean, sharp, and exactly how I pictured it. The beard trim and shave were just as precise. The shop itself is super clean, well organised, and has a really sharp, premium feel to it. On top of that, the whole team is genuinely friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference. If you’re serious about your haircut and beard, this is the place.

Having recently relocated to Cairns I was looking for a new hairdresser and hit the jackpot with Jack. Right from the start he was a great communicator, genuine and I felt like the haircut was very collaborative - it turned out great. Thanks Jack! Andy was fabulous! He is definitely the best hairdresser in Cairns. He has experience working in Sydney so imagine his expertise. He was thorough and listened to my concerns. I’m so glad to have found Andy after a lengthy search. I tried several salons and they all did an average job. If you want someone that can style hair then try Andy!! Thank goodness 😅 finally I found the right hairdresser!!!
