11/10 experience! This salon was clean and the staff was nice and efficient. I’ve been to many salons and this was the most thorough hair wash and scalp massage I’ve ever had. And Curly was just amazing! I had the best experience with him. He listened and took his time to get my cut as precise and perfect as possible. He also gave me styling tips and got my pin straight hair to look voluminous like I wanted. Glad I found my new go to spot, and for my cut to be under $100 with tip is unheard of in New York.

It was my first visit and it was lovely. I love my hair, I love the staff, I love my stylist (Lauren), I love the way the products smell, I love the way everything looks inside, I love their organization and the way they handle business. If I wasn't moving next month, this would be my permanent salon, but unfortunately I'm leaving New York. :(

Hands down the best hair appointment I've ever had. I've colored my hair for years (like crazy bright colors), so I've been in many salon chairs. But Firuza was by far the best colorist/haircut I've had. David helped pick the perfect mix of colors, and Firuza did the most beautifully blended balyage and a seamlessly layered haircut. Walked out feeling absolutely incredible. Thank you so much to the team at Balayage Me, will definitely be returning!

I have been a long-time customer of Masumi, and she is truly amazing. I have naturally frizzy, wavy hair that is very difficult to manage on my own, but Masumi always performs a total transformation. What I appreciate most is that she designs styles to last—she doesn't just focus on how it looks today, but how it will grow out. My highlights blend perfectly into my roots even months later! She is a master of everything: highlights, Japanese straight perms, and haircuts. Also, don’t miss out on her shampoo—her head massages are the best! I highly recommend her to anyone.

I had such a great experience with Holly Cheema! I came in wanting a non-bleached balayage for my naturally black/Indian hair, and my biggest priority was keeping it looking soft and natural—and she absolutely delivered. She really understood how to work with darker hair without compromising its health or integrity. The color came out beautifully subtle, with just the right amount of dimension and warmth. It enhances my natural hair instead of overpowering it, which is exactly what I was hoping for. You can tell Holly is super knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to what you want.

It was my first time at Hayato. Although it looked a bit dated, the service was exactly what I was looking for. Great shampoo experience and Mina my hairdresser was a super Japanese stylist. She listened to what you wanted and then offered her opinion. Highly recommend for a true New York Japanese hair salon. Thank you!

I’ve been to many hair salons in the New York City area but, H2 salon in Brooklyn is by far the best hair Salon I’ve ever been to. My stylist Geneva is an expert at what she does. She keeps my hair, healthy looking good. I highly recommend H2 salon

I had an amazing experience at V& C Hair Salon! I went in for a hair color transformation, highlights, and a haircut. Chora Coffman took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, and executed everything beautifully. the final result actually exceeded my expectations. My hair looks exactly how I envisioned it. Chora is incredibly talented, detail-oriented, and genuinely cares about her clients’ satisfaction. I left the salon feeling more confident and happier with my hair than I have in years. Nick is amazing and I see him for blonde highlights and cut. It’s hard to fine an excellent blonde colorist in NYC - fortunately I found Nick. I get compliments on my hair consistently. Can’t go wrong with Nick- love the salon vibe!
