I’m absolutely thrilled with the result! Huge thank you to Lauren – I didn’t expect it to turn out this amazing! I feel so good after the coloring. I wasn’t completely sure what I wanted at first, but the final effect is truly incredible. The atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming, and I highly recommend this place 100000%! 😊🤩

Lisa is always amazing! I don’t live in Gateshead anymore but I come to see her especially and I won’t let anyone but her cut my hair or my girls’ hair. She is the best hairdresser I have ever had. The salon is such a lovely place to be and all the staff are friendly. It’s always a pleasure to be at Evergreen. Thank you so much for the excellent service !

I’ve known this man for 12 years and can honestly say he’s one of the most genuine and hardworking people you’ll meet. His attention to detail and the standard of his work are second to none, and he’s always willing to help others. Since moving to the new shop, he’s surrounded by a great team of barbers who all push each other to be better, creating an excellent atmosphere. If you’re looking for quality, professionalism, and a barber who genuinely takes pride in his craft, I couldn’t recommend him more.

My son hates having hair cuts due to sensory issues. Brandon was great with him today, it was his first hair cut in a few months and he has a style in mind that he would like but his hair isn’t long enough yet. Brandon was awesome, he used clippers and when my son couldn’t tolerate it he switched to scissors with no issues. He advised us how to grow it out to the length for the style my son wants and tidied it up today. We will definitely be back, thanks man!

Drews attention to detail is next level. Never have i experienced this level of care from a barber. The shop itself is extremely clean, tidy and well equipped. As a man in his early 40s, I have anxieties about my receding hairline. After an initial consultation with Drew, he has found a way to cut my hair to minimise any signs of receding and its for this reason I refuse to go anywhere else. No "serving a que" Drew commits to your appointment personally, offers you a selection of drinks and even a spray of aftershave, leaving you feeling a million dollars. Always a positive experience.

I’ve been getting my haircut at The Hoi Polloi for a few years now, mainly by Jack P, who I have followed to the Ouseburn shop (what a cool spot). I can honestly say you’re in the best possible hands with this lad - he is extremely attentive, funny and a brilliant barber. He will look after you and make you feel welcome, I get a 5 star experience every time Jack cuts my hair & always leave with a smile on my face. Keep it up 👍💯

Sienna has been great! I'm passing through Newcastle for work and needed a barber that could give me a clean cut. Sienna did a boss job and was so lovely I came back a second time! Couldn't recommend more 🙌

I visited this hair salon for the first time and I’m very happy with the result! The haircut turned out perfect, even better than I imagined. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and I felt comfortable right away. The atmosphere in the salon was welcoming, and the whole team made the visit a real pleasure. I’ll definitely be back! If you're looking for a place that truly cares about its clients, I highly recommend it!

Dan is an absolute gentle man - he knows how to style my beard… It has taken me months and months to find a barber that can cut, proportion and style a beard with skill… He knows and shares my vision - And he knows how to get there visit by visit…! Andrew is a very warm and friendly man. He is very professional and very knowledgeable and has a great touch. I had a very relaxing and enjoyable head spa today. I highly recommend this place - it's spotlessly clean and they use the best equipment and products.
