Moving from Toronto, I’m used to very efficient wax services. I’ve tried the sugaring in Winnipeg at a few places and find it painful and soo slow! Sheila was very receptive to my worries and got things done so quickly and painlessly (or as painless as you can get with a Brazilian wax). She was comfortable using waxing or sugaring and kept me laughing and distracted the whole time. I would definitely recommend her! Also, the prices can’t be beat!

Nikki is an amazing hairstylist that I’ve been seeing for years and always look forward to my next hair appointment. Great service, best pedicure and manicure in the city. The atmosphere is relaxing, not like most salons with so much going on and messes everywhere. The place is very clean and organized. Very friendly and accommodating staff, the girls were professional and did a good job. Highly recommend!!

This was my 1st time at Dark Shugar and definitely will not be my last. This is the most professionally run hair salon I have been at in my 40 years of hair salons. The staff are attentive and focused on their clients and I noticed that not only Alexis, but all of her staff take the time to ask and make sure that all their clients are happy with the hair treatments throughout their appointments. I loved the relaxed, friendly vibe. Thank you, Alexis, Stephanie and all the staff for a great hair experience.
