Sindollhouse provides an invaluable service to Edinburgh’s LGBT community and that alone warrants a recommendation. This place, and the amazing makeup professional, Kath, have quite literally transformed my life (no pun intended). Makeup tuition is at your own pace and can be tailored around your specific requirements (spending more time on lashes or contouring for example). Don’t just keep viewing the site, go ahead, take the plunge and make a booking! You will thank yourself later.

After being let down at the last minute by another make-up artist I was delighted to be able to book Kelly for an evening wedding I was going to. Kelly was so welcoming when I arrived and totally got the look that I was going for as I've not had much experience of getting make up done. The finished result was incredible and it lasted all night and everyone commented on how well I looked - thanks Kelly!

my favourite nail salon in edinburgh. I don't think I'll ever go anywhere else. Ella, the new artist, did an amazing job on my nails, everyone is loving them and I am so proud of showing them off!

My makeup session with Katie exceeded expectations. The artist took time to understand the look I wanted and executed it perfectly. The blending, color matching, and attention to detail were exceptional. I felt comfortable throughout the entire process and absolutely loved the final result

I have never had my makeup done professionally before and I am so glad that I went to Sarah. She was so patient and understanding with me. Being an older lady she listened to what I thought I wanted and tried to make me feel at ease. She explained what she was doing and said that she would make sure that when I left the studio I would be happy with the makeup she had applied. She did a great job and I would highly recommend her. Many thanks for the great experience. Hopefully see you soon.

Lana always does an amazing job on my lashes. I wouldn’t go anywhere else in Edinburgh! The salon is taking the coronavirus really seriously and extra measures have been put in place to ensure staff and clients are kept safe. I had a wonderful experience with Bel. She put me at ease right away. My makeup class was very helpful. I learned so much, and had the opportunity to try the techniques myself. The dress up part was great as well. Bel made me feel brave enough to try on my outfits, and gave me good advice on my look. I will be back the next time I come to Edinburgh, and I would recommend the service.

I have used Paulina twice for my makeup and she is amazing! She did my wedding make up in the summer and party make up today. I really feel she understands what I would like and I always feel at ease. I will definitely use Paulina for all future make up!
