Sindollhouse provides an invaluable service to Edinburgh’s LGBT community and that alone warrants a recommendation. This place, and the amazing makeup professional, Kath, have quite literally transformed my life (no pun intended). Makeup tuition is at your own pace and can be tailored around your specific requirements (spending more time on lashes or contouring for example). Don’t just keep viewing the site, go ahead, take the plunge and make a booking! You will thank yourself later.

I got artists choice by Linda and she totally nailed it 😉 I have these EPIC tiger nails with 3D flowers and I am so in love. The funny thing is I wouldn’t have picked these for myself but I trust her completely and they literally are SO ME! I love doing artists choice it’s such an exciting surprise

Amanda is an amazing nail artist! She is always up for trying new designs and knocks it out of the park everytime!😍 Great attention to detail and artistic eye. She is also so lovely and great to chat to. (But doesn't mind a comfortable silence either!) Been going to her for over 2 years, highly recommend 💕✨️

I have never had my makeup done professionally before and I am so glad that I went to Sarah. She was so patient and understanding with me. Being an older lady she listened to what I thought I wanted and tried to make me feel at ease. She explained what she was doing and said that she would make sure that when I left the studio I would be happy with the makeup she had applied. She did a great job and I would highly recommend her. Many thanks for the great experience. Hopefully see you soon.

I’ve been getting my nails done by Alix for well over 5 years and trust her with my life (and to give me the most crazy colourful gorg nail art to ever exist). If i don’t have an idea for my nails Alix certainly will and I have never left disappointed!! All the girls are so lovely and chatty, hands down most welcoming salon I have been to in Edinburgh 10/10 always <3 xxx

After 15 years living in Edinburgh I finally found a place where I can truly take care of my skin and body. I always feel welcomed here—the beauticians are kind, attentive, and highly professional. Weronika, the owner, is amazing: skilled, knowledgeable, and honestly a total badass 😎❤️. This time I had waxing, eyebrow shaping, and a vacuum massage. Everything was done with top-level professionalism, and I even received a little Christmas gift, which was such a lovely surprise. I highly recommend this place. Merry Christmas! 🎁🎄

As always I love my fluffy brows. Over the years my hair colour and shape has changed and Kay has expertly complemented this with the colour and shape of my brows. I get so many complements and it really helps with low maintenance make up. 10/10 recommend

I had a wonderful experience with Bel. She put me at ease right away. My makeup class was very helpful. I learned so much, and had the opportunity to try the techniques myself. The dress up part was great as well. Bel made me feel brave enough to try on my outfits, and gave me good advice on my look. I will be back the next time I come to Edinburgh, and I would recommend the service.

Best nail salon in Edinburgh! Never have a bad session here. All the girls are always so welcoming & the nails are always on point! Tea/ coffee is always offered as part of the experience and the tunes are always a vibe! Alix never misses, every nail design done to perfection & I always know it’s going to be a good therapy session too; she’s so personable. Cannot recommend enough 🫶🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been a loyal customer of Sweet Beauty for years. And I haven't found another beautician in Edinburgh as professional as the owner of this salon, Weronika! All treatments performed are at the highest level. Manicure and pedicure at Magda's are also worth recommending. The eyelashes that Irina does are a masterpiece, and the massage with Irina is the best massage I have ever had in my life! I highly recommend Sweet Beauty!!!

My make up for the wedding was flawless just like the photo I showed her and eyebrows were amazing, I couldn’t stop looking at myself in her hollywood light mirrors. I could see myself top to bottom. I got a real bargain as her prices were good as I thought she would charge more, I have paid almost double at other places. I will definitely be back for more sessions. Simmy, was so patient. I know how demanding I can be but she went above and beyond. I’ve told all my friends as it’s hard to find someone as good as her. The place was spotless and loved her decor. I took loads of selfies.
