I have tried a lot of Sauna's around Auckland and Slowe is absolutely the best one. Clean, always hot enough, beautiful space with thoughtful details and lovely, genuine staff. I don't live in Takapuna any more but will happily continue to drive across the city for Slowe. I appreciate the off peak time specials also, big love!

Just wanted to share my honest thoughts. I love Slöwe - it is such a treat to visit every time. I love how the saunas are large enough to lay down in, the rooms are such a relaxing vibe, staff are super welcoming - it's such a lovely experience and a great way to step away from bust times!! I've tried pretty much every sauna place in Auckland and Slöwe is by far the best :) Highly recommend, I will be back!

Perfect ! Wonderful place for when you need some self care and some time out. The facility is wonderful and the staff (sorry don’t get a name) but she was super lovey , welcoming but also didn’t come across false, Just genuinely nice. The sauna was delightful. 100% recommend I felt so much calmer and less stressed after.

It was a fantastic experience! I am sorry, I did not ask name or can not remember name of a host but she was very welcoming and friendly. Slöwe saunas are perfect for private experience for mediation, relaxation and recovery. We felt the room sauna+ice was a very perfect place for us to recover and unwind. Flexibility of setting light, music/podcast was a surprising bonus for us. Cold plunge was really cold, we have never experienced cold like this, but it was a great shock to adapt to. Totally recommend sauna+ice at Slöwe for your recovery, mindfulness or a simple hideout from busy city life
